    Booked my appointment on line it is not my normal surgery a but the only appointment available I was seen next day and received some medication for my health problem within an hour

    today tried telephoning the practice for an appointment with concerns following surgery. After 30 mins, gave up on the phone gave up and decided to walk round to the surgery in my village, only to be confronted with a sigh to say that, due to staff shortages the surgery was closed today. the message said that Withernsea was open. drove to Withernsea surgery, to be advised by the receptionist, that they were not making bookings for appointments as their quota was exhausted, and none would be available for 3 weeks. I would therefore have to attend daily at 8.00am in the hope an appointment became available. I therefore decided to try my luck with the internet, as recommended by the telephone message playing when I initially phoned. Couldn't access the website because it was being "blocked" by some advert for a company that offers internet services to g.p. practices, with no way round it. No wonder A & E is always crammed to the rafters

    Thank you for taking the time to submit your review although we sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your recent experience. Unfortunately due to staff shortages / sickness we often have to move resources around and it is unfortunate that on this occasion we had to close Patrington for a short period of time. From 12th December 2022 we have introduced a new system to ensure that all patients are care navigated to the correct services or booked into the most appropriate appointment with the support of GP to provide clinical advice. We hope that this improves the patient experience for everyone and reduces waiting times. You can book appointments via the telephone, NHS App or via Klinik. If you were unable to access our website you will need to review your Firewall settings to allow access.
