    Hockley Farm Medical Practice Health which is far better than its previous system. You now know which position you are in the queue. This is very helpful for the 8am in the morning rush. Although you’ll get through to a receptionist at the beginning, this can be also the downfall of the practice, and depending on which receptionist you may get. Most of the receptionist are wonderful, but there is one which doesn’t really quite listen and speak on top of your telephone conversation while reporting your medical problem, and then likely to be Miss diagnosed. One of the other receptionist which we spoke to the day before was wonderful and tried everything possible to get an appointment. Even when a cancellation came in this receptionist came back and tried to book them in, as she listened to the symptoms and thought it was a matter of emergency. When we phoned in today, the other receptionist was not helpful, booked us to the medical hub which is at a different location, it was not with neither a doctor or female practitioner as we requested, and then nurse had the wrong symptoms which was put onto the system by the receptionist. This was mainly due to the receptionist talking over the top and trying to get rid of me as quick as possible. All in all, it is a good practice and the new phone system is very good, but I would expect the receptionist staff to have great communication skills.
