Always go over and above for treatment and care. Very thorough and prompt Dr took bloods from me today so I could take them to the hospital to get results back before Christmas shutdown. Amazing practice. Very lucky to be here

  2. Review titled Always a good experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarah Telfer - Posted on 05 November 2023

Having moved here two years ago from London and being registered with a brilliant surgery I cannot fault this practice. I have worked myself in practices in London and find the reception staff here are so polite and helpful under very difficult circumstances. The Doctors have been more than helpful and the nurses are very friendly and kind . It is very difficult and stressful working in a GP surgery and have had nothing but kindness when I needed it. Highly recommend.

Over the last two years I have been dealing with my Brothers medical appointments and ordering prescriptions due to his loss of most of his sight. Everyone at the Surgery from receptionists to G.P. have been so helpful and efficient! Unfortunately my Brother has passed away... myself and his family would like to convey our thanks.

Hard to get through on the phone- your number in the queue goes down very slowly -and reception staff and mostly not very polite when you go into the surgery

  5. Review titled Caring Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Happy - Posted on 01 November 2022

I have ongoing problems, difficult to tie down, but the doctors are really patient and thorough in trying to find the cause. They are very friendly and easy to talk with, and actually listen to what I say. In common with most practices, it can take time to get through on the phone, but there are many on-line ways to get through and the actual treatment is great. Certainly one of the best local surgeries.

nobody knows what's going on in this place - waiting times for a doctor to call me has passes 4 weeks - contacting them only results in "The doctor will call you" answer - How do i get a second opinion regarding my diagnosis >?

  7. Review titled Total Confusion

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I visited our surgery to find out why my mother had not been contacted following letter sent to them by Southend hospital, who had informed me that the surgery would contact my mother once the letter was received. Two weeks later I visited the surgery, the letter had not been read and receptionist decided that a telephone call from the doctor would suffice. After getting home I found out that the telephone appointment was at the same day and time as her hospital audiology appointment. I then phoned the surgery and was in a queue for nearly two hours in order to cancel and rearrange the appointment. I was told that the telephone appointment would be cancelled, and that no other appointment was available and that i'd have to go online the following day to try and book another appointment. The following day I went online and made a f2f appointment however two days later whilst in the hospital I had a call from the doctor for the original telephone appointment which I had cancelled. No wonder why our NHS are struggling with this chaotic administration they have operating them.

  8. Review titled Ultrasound Appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by S.Aziz - Posted on 12 November 2022

I was sent here via the Yorkshire Health Solutions for an ultrasound on the 9/11. I’m not a patient at this practice but I found it easy to find. The doctor and the nurse who performed the scan were so lovely, kind and friendly. Completely put me at ease even though I turned up crying due to being in so much pain. They were so thoughtful and were always asking if I was doing OK and if I was in pain (I have endometriosis so scans like this cause me a great deal of pain). They distracted me with lots of chatting and explained each step thoroughly so I knew what to expect. By the end of my appointment they both had me laughing and smiling again. I felt like they both genuinely cared. I wish I knew their names to thank them properly but hopefully this review will be passed on to them both

  9. Review titled Unhelpful reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 August 2022

Absolutely frustrated with the incompetence and sarcasm of the reception, extremely long queues when we call only to be spoken with rudely and belittled, older reception staff are the most unhelpful they all need updated training in customer service as their people skills are really bringing the practice down, never seem to be able to help whether i email or call and they all have conflicting answers, just really annoyed at the staff doctors and nurses are great though but reception needs younger more able experienced polite staff

  10. Review titled Brilliant Care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 September 2022

I phoned for an emergency appointment & although I was 17th in the queue & waited 50 minutes for reception I was given a face to face appointment that day. The doctor then referred me to the surgical team & I was seen that afternoon & I underwent tests & scan & I am now on the waiting list for surgery. Great GP thanks
