I have tried on numerous occasions to get an appointment with a GP at this practice but it is impossible. You can’t book on line; I am refused an appointment in person (several visits in last 2 weeks) and when you telephone I am put in holding queue and when I reach the receptionist I am informed there are no appointments left. This has been going on for the last 10 + years with no improvement. This is an appalling service for a GP practice in 2023.

Appalling ! crossing the limits ! impossible to get through ! I am told to call at 9 am: "you are number 15 in the call queue" then I am told to call at 3 : you are number 15 in the call queue so I get through at 3.46 pm and the receptionist tells me off because its 3.46 !!!! unbelievable, this is really wasting my time and pushing all my red buttons with their stupid music on the waiting line for years and then the receptionist hangs up the telephone on me ! twice ! Ive been calling six times since yesterday !!!!

An excellent practice, with excellent GPs, nurses and support staff. The reception staff are helpful and respectful at all times. The service provided by the GPs is exceptional.

Knowing that the 8am rush is next to impossible, I called this afternoon and have spent the last 35 minutes going from number 13 in the queue to number 3. The practice does not offer online appointments as far as I can tell (nothing available through Patient Access). It is absolutely jaw-dropping that the Highbury Grange practice has been totally unable to update its appointment or reception system when other local surgeries which we've used for other family members have excellent and responsive patient-facing systems. Would strongly recommend not registering with this practice.

Thank you for the emergency appointment and to the doctor who referred me urgently and staff who chased up appointment I’m so so grateful for all the support. I will be having an emergency operation this month Thank you for looking after me

I don’t understand why they can’t answer calls? They put me in the call queue and then as soon as i’m first in the queue they hang up. Has happened multiple times. Also didn’t phone me back about my blood test and I can’t even sort this because you refuse to answer calls.

I don't understand why the online booking system exists if the practice doesn't allow you to use it for advance appointments? Only phone request appointments are available for the same day, which are all gone soon after 9am. This is only an emergency service, not a general practice anymore.
