Phone booking system exasperating. The online website is a complete joke. How anyone with no computer skills gets an appointment is beyond me. My GP requested I see him asap, the booking "system" wouldn't let me have an appointment. You go round and round in ever frustrating circles. I am leaving as soon as I can. This is a shame because the medical staff are friendly and pretty efficient. Pity you struggle to see anyone!

It is impossible to get an appointment at this practice. You need to submit a form via the internet at 07:30 in order to get a same day appointment. The website is difficult to navigate and it is not intuitive to be able to locate the form. I have no idea how the elderly are able to do this and get an appointment. If you are allocated an appointment at a time that doesn't suit, you cannot amend it, you can only cancel. I just tried calling the surgery and was 'number 13' in the queue for 20 minutes so gave up. We will be moving to a different surgery as soon as possible.

Dear Patient, I'm sorry that you have had cause to leave this negative review. Our web site is provided by the ICB which looks after all the surgeries in the area and you will see that all the other surgeries have the same web site. Those patients who are unable to navigate a web site are invited to call the surgery, we ask those that can to use the web site to do so, so that those that need assistance can get through. Please be assured that we have a clinician in every room each day and our staff are working at full capacity. We are sorry to see you go.

Stay clear of Hersham Surgery. They are almost impossible to contact as you'll be in phone queue for ages only to be told they have no appointments. A recorded message tells you to use their website but the website tells you to phone!

Dear Patient, I am sorry that you have had difficulty contacting the surgery. Hersham Surgery, and the whole of the NHS is under unprecedented demand. In order to meet this demand, we will from the beginning of December trial a new 'winter pressures appointment system' which will mean there will be more book on the day appointments. If you would like to discuss this further with our practice manager, please fill out our feedback form on our website.

Impossible to get an appointment. New online system is flawed. Been trying for 2 weeks yo get an appointment. They don't use Livi anymore as they promised there would be more face to face appointments. Most GPs at this practice work part time so out of the 8 doctors or more sometimes there is only 1 doctor working that day. Tried again today to get an appointment you cant ring as you have you fill out a form to make an appointment and then you get a message to say form has reached capacity. So now I have to resort to a pharmacy to ask for help with the dreadful side effects I am having with the medication the doctor put me on.

Dear Patient, I'm sorry that you have had cause to post this review. I can assure you that we have at least 3 doctors plus a paramedic and two nurses here every day, there is rarely a clinical room not in use by a clinician looking after our patients each day. Saw a very nice Doctor today she was very helpful and friendly so I felt relaxed and that my problems were being addressed - wish I knew her name

emailed at 8 35 with details of an urgent problem and could submit a photograph. Telephoned about 20 minutes later with offer of face to face appointment at 1pm same day. Problem sorted. Thankyou

This morning I rang with urgent concern regarding an elderly and very vulnerable relation. The receptionist was very helpful, organised a same day GP tel apptmnt, which took place earlier than booked. The GP kindly arranged a paramedic to call in. This speedy access to medication has likely averted a much poorer outcome. I'd like to thank the Surgery for your assistance.

It has been 3 years of working in partnership with Hersham surgery. From triage to consultation and discharge, they are well-versed and the outcome is always in their patients' best interest without compromising dignity and respect. Truly gratifying with their steadfast patient care! Thank you all (Doctors, Paramedic, Nurses, HCAs, Receptionists, and Admin staff) for your dedication, hard work and passion to give us a quality of life.
