    Routine Annual HRT Review - booked easily using online form (the trick is to give plenty of notice and to be flexible). Booking in straight forward using self check in system. Called on time, Same Nurse as previously so good continuity of care. Thorough, friendly and efficient.

    Horrible unsafe practice as firstly extremely difficult to communicate to even the receptionist. Sadly the service instead of improving is getting worse day by day. If they can’t help the patients they should shut this practice. Had been requesting my brother’s safeguarding needs for the last year and a half nothing was done till he passed away last week . So difficult to contact even to get the death certificate. I am extremely disappointed and appalled by this GP surgery they should shut it down as it is not helping patients instead distressing patients and relatives.

    My daughter has been trying to make an appointment for the last few days. Ended up ringing 111, who told her to ring hmg back as an emergency. My daughter did this and the receptionist was rude and put the phone down without saying goodbye. Time this happened was 5 37pm on Jan 26th. My daughter after that experience was rather upset and so we rang 111 back and accepted a call back from one of their nurses. Appalled how the practice is now run and the rudeness of some of the staff.

    A very simple matter of filling in a date of birth on the Hereford Medical Group contact form is almost impossible it is so badly designed, instead of typing in the date in a moment you click onto a day month and year and try to scroll down and select. However each time it needs resetting so you are back to the beginning. It is the poorest and most time consuming method so one simply gives up…….please correct this matter. Thank you

    On 21 December 2023 I had been unwell for 4-5 days and with Xmas approaching decided to contact the surgery for advice. I filled in the online form carefully and was surprised and very relieved to receive a phone call from Hereford Medical Group within the hour and was then offered an appointment that very afternoon and was seen by a doctor at the designated time. Well done - I want to give credit where it’s due.

    I’ve had to wait 5 weeks for an appointment, for it to be cancelled on the morning, I understand these things happen what is upsetting is I have to wait another 5 weeks for the next available appointment, that is not fair and it’s not right I have to wait 10 weeks for an appointment, life is hard enough and such a struggle and now no help until the new year

    Have been on medication for hypertension for ages. Medication ordered monthly via the pharmacy This month was told by the pharmacy that “medication not authorised”Contacted hmg told by receptionist “our system shows that you haven’t had this medication since March”!! Although pharmacy records will not show this. Was text to provide “week worth of readings of BP” What would be the point of this!! In view of the fact that I have been on hypertension meds for a few years! But “the system shows I haven’t had the medication since March” I have had it till last month! Asked to see a doctor was told “this isn’t an emergency” what one wonders may be the consequences of not taking this medication which one has taken for years! It outrageous It’s disgusting that simple checks are not carried out. People being told face to face. If the medication wasn’t issued since March (according to hmg it was ) did anyone check up why? Contacted pharmacy today e mailed hmg see what the week brings. In mean time asking a friend (who also has hypertension and takes the same stuff) for tablets!

    I phoned immediately after a bank holiday weekend expecting a long wait to be seen. The receptionist was helpful and I was offered an appointment within a few hours. I wasn’t kept waiting having arrived. The Nurse Practitioner was very kind and gave helpful advice. From booking the appointment to picking up my prescription was a smooth, speedy process.

    Don't come if you have chronic conditions. If you can get an appointment (good luck), don't expect a good experience. Random GPs and terrible experiences with repeat prescriptions. I've had issues in four of the last five months. The stress makes my depression worse and there's no point even trying to get an appointment as they don't seem to be able to help. Good luck as well if you have a spectrum genetic disorder, as most seem clueless.

    Called in to the surgery today after several failed calls and completing online forms, to resolve my issue with getting a repeat prescription, as I am new to the area. The receptionist at station Medical centre was so so helpful & sorted this out for me straight away. Can’t thank you enough!
