Review titled Poor experience
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sarah Kirby - Posted on 03 June 2025
I finally managed to see a GP in person over three weeks after having an allergic reaction. As my main symptom has mostly cleared and my throat didn't close up, I was essentially told it didn't matter. The GP was very dismissive, asking a question then not even letting me finish my sentence before repeating that they weren't worried. They had not read any previous notes and did not ask if I had had any other symptoms. Overall, I waited weeks for an appointment and wasted an afternoon of annual leave to be told it didn't matter and leave after about 3 minutes. It made me wonder why they even bothered giving me an appointment.

Review titled Great care and support
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Amy - Posted on 04 June 2025
Excellent, informative and thorough care as always from my GP. The few times I have had to go and see or speak with my GP I always feel like she actually listens to what I am saying and with me will make a clear action plan. She educates me on what is happening and what will happen next and is always so efficient. Can't thank you enough. I know things are really difficult in the NHS at moment but your outstanding care does not go unnoticed.

Review titled Quick response
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Elizabeth Phillips - Posted on 19 February 2025
This morning I sent in a sample for a suspected UTI, it was dealt with immediately by a Nurse Practitioner and now I've already started a course of antibiotics. I was informed in detail what was going to be done etc . Would just like to thank everyone involved for the quick efficient response .

Review titled Slow response & not very helpful
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 February 2025
Took a week or more to respond to a query and then declined to offer the same support I’d had at my previous (very busy) surgery. Slow triage process, when I wasted a week waiting for a response.

Review titled Great GP - Unkind Reception
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 January 2025
As someone who suffers from Mental health problems and Autism I struggle with being in crowded places. I have asked on numerous occasions for the surgery to make provision for this and request help on my notes. I have experienced what I can only describe as rude and uncaring receptionists/ admin staff on several occasions. When I needed blood test results printed as I have vision loss and also cannot access the NHS app the Receptionist complained about me infront of other people waiting in the queue. I recently had serious illness and did not want to wait in the waiting room due to infection reasons (infecting others) and was spoken to in a extremely uncaring manner by admin team and with zero understanding of my situation. There is a notice in Reception stating they will not tolerate abusive behaviour. But what about the public being treated with kindness understanding and compassion? I would change GP practise if I could . I literally dread going into this practise for how I will be treated or made to feel . The GPs are lovely however and have a totally different attitude to patients. Reception/Admin seriously let this practice down. Smiling and being friendly and kind makes all the difference to people when they are feeling unwell.

Review titled Really shocking lack of care for mental health
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 09 January 2025
Three issues. First: very, very difficult to get an in-person appointment here. Second: when you are finally triaged, you are informed that you have an appointment "in up to six weeks" from the point of contact. Third: the doctor finally calls, sounds bored, doesn't even look at my medical history, and at the end of it says "what would you like me to do?" If I knew this, I would be the doctor and not you- patients ask for assistance. I am struggling and have no support whatsoever, this leaves me with no confidence. You get assessed by phone on a five minute call, and that's your appointment. How can you ascertain anything and everything over the phone. Patients deserve better.

Review titled Amazing Treatment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 August 2023
I did at eConsult at 8am this morning, by 10.30 I had been seen by the Nurse Practitioner and a prescription for the appropriate treatment. I have a long term health condition, and the care I receive is exemplary. Many thanks to you all.

Review titled Just getting worse
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 August 2023
Really rude abrupt receptionists. I always am made to feel uncomfortable and stupid by the reception team who seem to know more about my medication than I do myself. doctors are really lovely, just the reception team are a let down. I have been debating swapping and I definitely will be now.

Review titled Great service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Prompt response to e-consult with a phone appointment, followed up with a face to face appointment a few weeks later . Felt my concern was taken seriously and reassured if a further appointment was required it wasn’t an issue . GP practices are getting a lot of negative press , this practice has exceeded my expectations . Thank you
