  1. Review titled Out of the Frying Pan into the Fire

Rated 1 star out of 5

Registered with this practice having another practice that had gone down hill badly on the basis we were promised that its terrible reputation was over as new management had taken over and all the bad staff had gone. It is the readers' choice but it is not wise or safe to believe that. It is probably the worst GP practice we have ever been registered with my 75 years. Having written a detailed and explanatory review of the Truth, The whole Truth and nothing but the Truth. An "error" occurred and it is lost. What is the point of reviews if the truth is not allowed out and cover up prevails. I am a stage 4 malignant melanoma patient and they could not careless. Today told to leave the practice we are not wanted. So now I lose my hospital treatment as I have no gp after of course I had begged the hospital to step in just after Christmas when I became so ill because of incompetent prescribing (or lack of it) to control the diabetes that rages when on the treatment I undergo. Very very disturbing.

  2. Review titled Can't get appointments

Rated 1 star out of 5

Always asked to call at 8am to get an appointment. Usual wait time is over 40mins before speaking to someone and then to be told no appointments available. Staff very rude and not helpful.

  5. Review titled A disheartening experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

I regret to say that our experience at this medical practice has been nothing short of disappointing. We were aware of the challenges faced by the National Health Service, and as foreigners, this was a concern for us. However, nothing could have prepared us for this catastrophic reality. The situation has deteriorated to such an extent that patients, like us, often find themselves isolated and abandoned, grappling with a healthcare system that has lost its compassion. Hednesford Medical Practice is not different in this regard. We feel like we are consistently dismissed. There is a general lack of attentiveness from the reception staff, and it feels like they couldn't care less about their patients. There is no kindness or empathy for people who don't know their way around the system. No person in their right mind would make Hednesford, and by extension England, their permanent home. We can't wait to return to our home country, where we have never been subjected to such appalling treatment within the healthcare system. We are also apprehensive about inviting our elderly parents for visits, as we worry about potential emergencies and whether they would receive prompt assistance if needed. Not to mention that as guests in the United Kingdom on a five-year visa, we have each paid a substantial amount of £3,120.00 (£6,240.00 in total) for healthcare, a fee far higher than what we've paid for healthcare services elsewhere in Western Europe. Unfortunately, this significant investment has not translated into a good service or a positive experience at all, quite the contrary. We sincerely hope that the situation can be improved at this practice in the near future. Every patient should be supported and provided with help and hope. Our intention in sharing this feedback is to shed light on the challenges faced by patients and can only hope that this will be taken into consideration.
