I saw a gp 2 weeks go after I had a incident which i was taken in to goodhope hospital with chest pains, they did there test which showed i hadnt had a heart attack but my blood pressure was very very high. But basic sent me home which worried me loads. So this is where this gp come in i saw her after requesting to see a gp, she was great, she listen to me, didn't rush me out the door without talking threw things loads, she subscribed me more blood presure meds, booked me in for bloods and a ECG and asked me to give it a week then start recording my blood pressure morning and night. Went back to see her again today she talked me threw my blood presure scores and changed my meds as they where giving me really bad nausea. She booked me in 2 see her in 2 weeks and more bloods in 4 weeks. Right I must say this lady is the best gp I've seen in many years and believe me I've seen many due to a fall that crushed my spine, she listens never judges and talks you threw the plans ahead. I asked her if I could see her again as she put me at ease when I see her. Wish more doctors/GPS were like her . Credit to the NHS Thank you for making me felt heard

Ringing up for an appointment is always hit or miss as they run out fast, I was lucky in this occasion. The receptionist seemed less than happy as is often the case here. The call was handled efficiently however. The appointment itself was taken a doctor whom I have been seeing frequently for my particular problem, and he is always courteous and understanding, knowledgeable and confident. Not all doctors are created equal but most of the doctors at this practice are very good.

I had to call in to book an appointment for a drugs review and as per usual the lines were engaged. However perseverance pays off. Sit in the queue and be a patient patient and I got through to a lovely lady who arranged a telephone call that morning. By ten am the doctor had called and did the review in a professional friendly and sympathetic way and made me feel very at ease. I would recommend them and say just be patient and your turn will come. Thank you NHS

I seen a lady called catherine, i've seen her once or twice before and she's lovely, listens to me and gives me the right advice. I said to reception she's like a breath of fresh air which reception also agreed. She's very thorough. It's nice being able to see a someone who listens to me. I like stoneydelph practice. I always find the staff are also good there.

The worst doctors I have ever dealt with. Vile front desk workers No help what so ever The most frustrating process ever, you would have thought a manager would review the reviews and change something. Doesn’t surprise me that they don’t

You call for an appointment, told they have none and told to call back daily. You cannot book in advance only on the day. We have been trying for over 2 weeks to book an appointment but constantly told that they dont have any. When asked why, we are told they are up to capacity yet the receptionist confirmed that they are still taking on new patients which goes against what they are saying. This medical practice needs an investigation into the way they are dealing with existing patients. They have multiple sites some of which are closed due to lack of electricity and phone lines constantly down. How is this fair on patients needed medical attention??

Dear Patient We are very sorry you have had a bad experience in accessing our services. We have had a few clinicians leave lately and have new clinicians starting early December which will increase the number of appointments available. we are in the process of having a new telephony system installed that will have far more functionality like call back and specific patient priority. Unfortunately we have builders in the area that have cut through vital power cables causing total power losses in the neighbouring area, which is totally out of our control. We can only apologise and please know that we are aware of these issues and are trying to improve access and services to all patients. Kind regards Operational Manager
