I would like to complement the surgery for the improvement in the service received in the past 3 years. From the receptionists to the doctors, the whole service is vastly improved and it is far more welcoming and helpful than in previous years.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the care my pregnant wife received at Hayes Medical Centre. On multiple occasions, we called the practice to request an emergency appointment due to early pregnancy complications. However, the receptionists were unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. They refused to offer us an appointment under pregnancy care or provide us with any information about when we might be able to see a doctor. We were on hold for hours at a time, only to be told that there were no appointments available. After five days of constant trying to get an appointment, we were forced to go to the emergency room. We were seen by a doctor immediately and my wife was immediately referred to the Urgent Care unit to get treated. However, we were then sent a message from the GP practice telling us that we should not have gone to the emergency room and that we should have waited for our appointment. This is unacceptable. We feel that our concerns have not been taken seriously and that we have been put at risk by being denied an appointment for a pregnant patient. This is not the first time we have had this experience with Hayes Medical Centre. In the past, we have had difficulty getting appointments for routine care, and the receptionists have always been rude and unhelpful. It is clear that Hayes Medical Centre has a problem with its operations management and its reception staff. The practice does not prioritize pregnant patients, and it does not provide adequate care for its patients in general. I urge you to avoid Hayes Medical Centre. If you are pregnant, or if you simply value your health and well-being, please find a different practice.

I am very satisfied with the service i get there. Never had any problems with them and the staff always tries to be helpful and understanding. Highly recommend this GP cause the team is really professional

I am with this practice already 4 years and I am very happy to have chosen them. Nice and polite team, professional doctors. Also for my baby whenever I needed I got quick assistance and check up. Thanks for your hard job

I called to book a GP appointment and was put with a nurse who told me she couldn't help me and to call back. I called back to book another GP appointment and was given a same day appointment as I have a serious issue which needs checked. The receptionist called me 20 minutes before the appointment time to advise not to attend as they had given my appointment to someone else with a higher priority. I am unwell and I also needed to see a Doctor. I was then told to call back to book another appointment. This service is appalling!

I always have a problem getting my meditation from here, I have been tacking these meds on a regular basis and I try and order them before as I know what they are like, they say you still have a weeks worth. Then when you order them two days before which they recommend, you never get them on time or they come out with never received email or they blame the pharmacy that they are taking too long. When you call the pharmacy they say they have not had the prescription from the doctor. In this place is always the same I have made loads of complaints but never get a response back from them it’s such a joke. Sometimes your waiting for one hour just to get in touch with them when you want an appointment it’s always one or two weeks wait. Then the place forces you to leave a good rating as they say they need to bring there ratings up as they was very low. This has happened a lot someone would think that they would sort out these issues and learn from them.

This is an honest review - this gp practice is simply awful, you have to wait over an hour just to get through to reception. When I finally got through I wanted to book an emergency appt and they told me a Doctor will call between 10am - 1pm but no one called me at all! I have called again to wait another hour on the phone such terrible service. I’m in pain & agony and already went to A&E but was advised it would be best to see my own GP in case I need a specific referral that only the GP can do. In the time I’ve been registered with this GP I’ve not once been able to speak or see a doctor at all and honestly it’s so upsetting. I’m looking for alternatives GPs as honest to God….Hayes Medical Centre is terrible!

I was very happy with this receptionist as she was very polite. Secondly she listened to what I had to say and didn’t just shut me down. I liked the fact she was polite but also quick and efficient. Great service by this lady! You need more like them!
