  1. Review titled Doctors don't care

Rated 1 star out of 5

Patient ignored , appointment not entered on the system for life saving cancer treatment, a couldn't care less attitude from doctors, as my husband's registered carer this is the treatment I witness my husband receiving at the Haxby group. Took my husband to the surgery after painful lesions developed on his head and we were told to send in photo.Recieved a message back to say doctor wanted to see him but had to wait four weeks for appointment!!!! On palliative care yet can't get an appointment and no appointment came !!!! I took him back to the surgery and was told doctor would send for him later that day but no!!! a phone call later but no face to face appointment so no actual examination and told he would send a prescription for cream. I told the doctor he was on palliative care and the response was " So what do you want from us " As he wasn't physically examined the doctor couldn't tell from a photo that the lesions were infected and required an antibiotic cream. The doctor also told us that he would place my husband on a Three month waiting list for an appointment. This is Disgraceful treatment !!!!!

  2. Review titled Terrible practice and never get to see a GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am currently on a waiting list for an appointment, yep a waiting list. If you want to make an appointment via the phone you are wasting you time, I was 30th in the queue today after receiving the text about the waiting list and to call the surgery for more information. I was diagnosed with a lifelong condition in Jan 22 and I still have not seen a GP in person even though I am on medication for the rest of my life and I have to ask for the tests to check the medication is right. You never see the same GP twice (if you can actually get an appointment). It actually makes me feel ill if I have to contact the surgery now as it makes me so anxious as I feel that they do not care, do not listen and want to get rid of me as soon as possible with the least amount of investigation into my illness. I also got sent to A&E after requesting and appointment and (again) got a text sending me to A&E who then told me the GP should not have sent me there as the injury was over 48 hours old and that they could have fast tracked me for an x-ray so I didnt have to wait in A&E for 11 (eleven) hours. A perfect example of just being brushed off and lack of care. Then on my return to the surgery 5 weeks later (yes I got an appointment that time!) I got told the continued swelling in my injured leg was due to it being hot (the heat clearly just effected the one leg) and to go on a diet. I'm not kidding...gaslighted because of my weight! Find another surgery as they are oversubscribed and cant meet the needs of their patients
