I have recently problems with my knee which yesterday became very painful and left me in a constant pain when walking. I received a phone call today telling me I was triaged and offered physio on 20 May. This triage was accomplished without seeing me. I then was offered an appointment with a GP in 12 days time. Not very helpful. The receptionist was very uncompromising. Basically I was told to take it or leave it. Nothing else was offered.

Excellent service today. Had a good consultation. Answered all my questions. No wait time either. Never had any issues getting an apt here

I recently called at the Hastings House Medical Centre to make an appointment to see a doctor (non-emergency) but was told by the receptionist that they did not accept appointments at the reception desk. I could either join a telephone queue at 8am the next working day (which would have been three days away) and try to book a slot on that day, if available, or I could complete a lengthy and somewhat confusing on-line questionnaire. According to the CQC 'You can expect a good GP practice to be responsive to your needs because: 'The appointment system is easy for everyone to use ...'. In my opinion, the appointments system at Hastings House is far from easy for everyone to use and needs to be far more flexible if it is to meet everyone’s needs.
