  1. Review titled Very dissapointed with quality of service

Rated 1 star out of 5

contacted 111 after being unable to get any joy at the doctors for my 2 year old grandaughter , they then referred me back to doctors for a call back which I didn't receive. Went to drop in the following day, phoned Dr again this morning as she was no better told no appointments but Dr would review and call back , was told to take her drop in if needing to see someone , this is now into the second week I feel it is wrong the doctors have not considered the age of the child and made an appointment available . How can you properly diagnose a child over the phone with the aid of photographs? She was prescribed over the phone steroid cream for a rash that hasn't even been examined. Now on way back to drop in . Feel like we have just been given the brush off without any thought to the childs needs .

I have just put the phone down after waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes. I was initially 4th in the queue. I was at 1 in the queue for over 30 minutes. This is just not good enough

Dear Mr Ching, I am sorry you had difficulty getting through to the practice on the phone today. We had a technical problem with our phone system this morning which we hope to be fully resolved tomorrow.

  3. Review titled Extremely poor practise

Rated 1 star out of 5

I would strongly suggest not to use Harris Memorial Surgery Illogan. The Doctors here have continually failed me. Never given call backs in emergency's and when asked to write letters or re-issue prescriptions have either neglected to do so, done so poorly or them completely neglected to tell me the above service has been completed. I have even been prescribed medication that I was allergic to after the Doctor had been told repeatedly of my allergies and seen it throughout my files. It took said Doctor 3 months to get back to me with the prescribed medication as she stated she would need to research it. The medication was for migraines I was left without treatment, medication or contact during this time and yet she still somehow managed after all the time and 'research' to prescribe me with medication I was allergic to. To put things into context I have epilepsy, fibromyalgia, coeliacs and I'm under diagnosis for endometriosis and awaiting the first of what could be multiple surgeries. My health is not a joke and has been treated as such. There has been occasions where I have requested a call back or Doctors appointment, have not received either in the supposed assigned time and then ended up in A&E as a result of thier medical neglect. I wouldn't recommend going here for even a cough or a cold. Seems to a high turn over of staff as well as I have not once seen the same Doctor since I registered with the surgery and have been passed from pillar to post.

you can never get through on the phone.if you do it’s after waiting for up to an hour to then the phone is promptly put down on you so you have to start the process again . messages are never passed onto drs and you have to chase them to get anything done . there are never any appointments they just direct you to a&e. all this along side the fact the dispensing of medicines is also a nightmare. receptionists are rude . this practise needs looking into !

  5. Review titled Bad bad bad

Rated 1 star out of 5

Absolutely disgraceful service, I cannot put into words how I've been treated by this Shambles of a non existent caring service, they'll tell you anything usually lies! To get you off the phone that's if they bother to pick it up, prescription's are a nightmare that's if you get them at all, now you've got doctors that don't no you haven't even met you and they start trying to save money off the back of your illness/illnesses.. and I'm not talking a cold I'm taking about serious illness, if that wasn't enough.. the stress you go through all because they want that pat on the back. Half of the staff are so rude you end up learning there doing it purposely because they've taken on way too many people services are so stretched and there attitudes are so short.
