Been with the practice a long time. They have seen us through the recent difficult times and every time we have approached them, their service has been faultless. Yes they are under pressure but they have never forgotten that we are all patients and have always treated us with courtesy and consideration.

Saw doctor today to discuss HRT. Doctor listened to me openly and presented the pros and cons of taking it in simple to understand words backed up with statistics. Did not fob me off or insist I go away and consider, so appeared to value my time and my research done before the meeting, which I appreciated.

saw the paramedic at the practice today, absolutely super! Went above and beyond for me, took the time to explain things to me and the consultation did not feel rushed. Very friendly and professional. Would like to say a massive thank you to him

The nurse I saw for my smear test was so lovely and friendly, made me feel at ease and so professional. I attended an out of hours clinic which is such a great service. Also,the receptionist was kind and welcoming too! Working in healthcare myself I understand the pressures and hardwork required in primary care and this surgery is a fantastic example of what a great service the NHS can provide!

My child had a nasty rash and suspected infection. The practice made it so easy to upload pictures via my phone and within 60 minutes I spoke to a GP, had the problem diagnosed, and had meds sent to our allocated pharmacy—all without having to visit the GP practice. Thank you.

The team at handscombe house have always gone above and beyond when caring for myself and my family. And I can not fault the level of service that is offered from reception through to seeing the GP. For a practice that is clearly over subscribed they continue to offer excellent care. I want to thank everyone at the practice for making caring for my family easier.

I believe when comparing the experiences of my family and friends around the country, my immediate family and I who are registered with this Surgery are truly blessed with the outstanding care and responsiveness of this Surgery (Reception/Nurses/ Doctors) which appears to be quite unique in this current age. It is impossible to recognise the negative reviews I have read about this Surgery.

I have been with this surgery since I was a child and after today I have decided that I am switching surgeries. The receptionist is rude and hung up the phone on me when I politely complained about how them closing the econsults early wasn't my fault usually closes at 2pm this was at 11:23am!!! and that I needed desperately to get ahold of a doctors note following a surgery I had had the week prior. her final words to me were "right i'll see what the doctor might say" and then a clunk followed by my phone disconnecting. I had been advised the day prior to phone if I was unable to submit an Econsult which is what I had done but this receptionist decided I shouldn't get to do one over the phone. I have also been waiting for a referral for my back injury to come through I was told 3 to 4 weeks it has now been 3 months!! no phone calls from the Physio and when I enquired I was told they would contact me! this surgery has bad reviews for a reason! now i'm 24 i've made the best decision to switch to a surgery!
