Takes up to 6 weeks for requests for medical records to be sent to third party to ask for medical records. Takes 5 days to get access to NHS app after receiving form and ID. None of the timescales are stipulated on website. Can never get through on phone even when number 1 in the queue. Apparently with central phone line, this should alleviate admin staff/reception staff to do admin things. Yet patients do not see an improvement in timescales, in fact quite the opposite.

I was advised that I would be called for an annual review of medication & overall wellness check- cholesterol test etc, in the month of my birthday. This advice was given by the Pharmacist based at the practice. Initially I was given an appointment & then it was refused with hours. I don’t understand why this would be denied but it appears to have become common practice in this surgery. I will be seeking the advice of the CQC inspection team.

Used to be great. Now patients are an inconvenience. Desperate situation which may be replicated across the whole of the NHS but wasn’t previously a problem. Locum after locum after locum. Inconsistent and dangerous levels of (lack of) care. Symphony have destroyed this practice. Unhelpful reception staff and inability to raise concerns in a positive way because you cannot speak to anybody. In my experience one locum did not record information correctly leaving me without the service I needed and then requiring a follow-up (which is unnecessary) with another locum thus taking an appointment from somebody who needs it.
