Met my new GP and he was thorough plus caring - I was asked to take another blood test due to stress related issues the last time I had in (nov 2023) I am grieving the loss of my husband - dr showed empathy which was most welcomed - I will be referred to a hospital for my epigastric hernia

I have been spammed by the surgery in the last 2 years with SMS messages regarding questionnaires to complete. I had managed to call the surgery and opt out for a few months but then I had an online appointment with one of their GP on July 28 and since then unfortunately I have been receiving spamming SMS messages again. I have recently called the surgery on the phone and asked once more to be opted out, they answered that a 3rd party company is handing the SMS messages and "they will let management know" I think that besides being constantly spammend, the most concerning thing is that I have never given any consent to share my info (mobile number) with any 3rd party I will proceed with sending them an email to request full access to my details and whom thay are sharing them with

I have been a patient for over 20 years and have never had cause for complaint. All the staff are unfailingly polite and I have always been dealt with quickly and efficiently, face to face and by telephone. Test results and repeat prescription requests are followed up quickly. I consider myself lucky to be on their books!
