  1. Review titled Terrible experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

Wanted over a week to even get a phonecall with a doctor. Phone appointment never got confirmed via text/email, I was waiting by the phone all morning, heard the phone ring as I left the room for two minutes to only miss the call. They only let the phone ring for a maximum of 5 rings before giving up. Doctor left a message saying phone back within the next 5 minutes to speak to me. I phoned back instantly to speak to the receptionist who said that the doctor was no longer available and I'd have to rebook, the next available appointment being in over two weeks time!! I am so disappointed as I have been waiting so long to speak to them. Infuriating is an understatement, so disappointed with this, no wonder the NHS is in ruin. Will not be recommending this gp to anyone.

  2. Review titled Excellent care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My husband has complex needs and is not the easiest patient to deal with. All the staff are friendly and patient and he receives excellent care and they are extremely accomodating of his needs. The support they also offer to me is fantastic. An outstanding practice and team who deserve commendation for the first class service they provide.

  3. Review titled Lost unable to get the care I need.

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am not able to see a GP with this surgery. I am not able to see a regular preferred GP. I have health conditions like any person but I have no support from my GP surgery which is causing problems. I have conditions that I can not get a diagnosis for. I am omitting information that would identify me. The phone call system has improved so now you do not have to call now over 1,000 times or more within a three hour period to be told no appointments are available you are now put in a queuing system to be told no appointments are available (I have call logs to prove this). You may see an out of hours doctor at another surgery but when you visit them they will tell you they can not help you with your condition so go see your GP (which I am unable to do). I can not see a GP. I have not received help from other parts of the NHS due to stigma. I can not afford private health care. I effectively can not get NHS healthcare. The only health care that I can get is NHS online which is not always suitable, or A and E (again not suitable). I have experienced some discrimination within the local NHS where I have been refused treatment because of "x" because I am "x" out hours will not help . X is something that would identify. I would like to be able to access healthcare but I can not. I can not afford private healthcare.

  4. Review titled Exceptional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Over the last 20 years Greyfriars have shown excellent care and consideration, from reception through nurses, pathology and pharmasutical the service provided is above average. This surgery is a new build and was once near the town stump, like all surgery they have had to adapt to the times. The website allows for the re ordering of prescriptions and booking of appointments. I can think of no better surgery in Boston or anywhere. They are professional, polite and skilled in all aspects.

  5. Review titled Awful!

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been trying to get hold of anyone in the practice to book an appointment for my husband and my son! My husband has been dealing asthma, a horrible throat infection and cough for about 3 months now and my son suffers with asthma and also has now developed a cough. I e been calling every day for I don't know how many weeks now only to be on hold for over an hour, I end up getting to annoyed and hanging up! I call at 8:10 am most mornings (lines open at 8am) and still I have no luck! I've even called the pharmacy next door to it to ask if the can see anyone in the doctors, which most the time they reply "no one is there only the 3 receptionists!" It's disgusting! If I go in to book they get moody because I've not called to book instead, I explain to them I've been calling and calling but no one answers, they say "oh we are busy!" Ehile I'm stood there in an empty waiting area! We will now be changing our doctors because Greyfriars are awful!

  6. Review titled Never answer the phone

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Penny - Posted on 01 December 2022

I have been trying to contact the practise on many occasions over the past few months. Everytime I encounter the same message explaining how the receptionist are busy, subsequently on hold for 30 minutes to then be cut off, I have called on average over fifty times to have the same thing happen not just on one occasion but everytime I call. How can I get a review for medication if I can't talk to a person, this is always the case whatever day you call. When voicing my frustration I was then spoken to with attitude,,,,,,great response to a very valid complaint. Come look at my call log if you don't believe me .Shocking .
