    Always impressed with the service from this practice, wether this be the nurse, GPS or response to online requests. Over this past week I have been particularly unwell with what turned out to be pleurisy and i am so thankful I got an on the day appointment and was given treatment and great advice. I really am so thankful as had I not been seen this could have become very serious. Over the years the service has always been great too! Thank you so much!!

    I honestly can't fault the Dr's , I have been with them since they were located in Garston Old Rd i have seen many Dr's come & go.Recently I have received only the best treatment. I agree it's very hard to get an appointment but all surgeries are the same. As for the rude receptionist I totally agree she was unbelievable! on the plus side i think she has since left, All the other receptionist's are brilliant, Not forgetting the nurses who are most helpful .Thank you Karen

    An excellent service but difficult to get appointments in periods of high demand ( a common problem in the NHS ) with the doctors but as difficult if not more difficult with the nurses. If it has shortcomings for those with longterm issues it is the prescription service. My meds are on a 12 week repeat cycle and to get it completed correctly can take several visits ( it took six last time ). My meds are not simple to manage ( I feel more like a quartermaster than a patient ) so I sympathise with the logistics of ordering of them, particularly with the current shortage and substitution of medicines. If you are on longterm medicines subject to change be prepared to keep a close eye on things.

    Excellent access, I submitted an e-cons on the Monday and received a telephone appointment with a GP the next day. Issue dealt with easily and GP was helpful and efficient.

    I used the new Patchs today and completed an on line form which was easy to navigate. I got a call from a doctor a few hours later and after the call I was offered an appointment the same day to see a doctor face to face. Which happened and I had a referral. The whole process was seamless and I felt that I was listened to and treated well. Next steps were proposed and agreed with me. I could not have wished for a better service from all of the staff that I dealt with today. Also very easy self check in.

    Do not bother phoning up and asking any questions as the receptionist are extremely rude. You are mid explaining the situation and they put you on hold. They come back off hold and sigh heavily down the phone. Really unprofessional. Was told I need to make time for the doctor which I did on my day off. Waited for a phone call as I put an econsult in the night before. No phone call to discuss anything. Told to repeat my bloods again for an issue that I have had on going for years. Such poor customer service. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

    I've been with the surgery for over 9 years and have seen the standards go down lately. It has become harder to get an appointment now, especially after covid. The only way to get any appointment is to start calling around eight in the morning and if you get through to somebody just after half eight, you are already late in getting the appointments. Most of the times I give up because either the phone is continuously engaged or nobody answers the call. Earlier, it was possible to get an appointment by calling anytime, if you want the appointment in the future but now they seem to have done away with that. They only give same day appointments. I believe if somebody wants a follow up with the doctor or the nurse about the results of tests, it will be impossible to get an appointment because that will not fall within the reasons you want same day appointment and the surgery does not offer future appointments. Whether this is because there is shortage of staff or wilful decision the surgery has taken, I don't know. The surgery needs to understand that there still are reasons where you do not need same day appointments but in the future and the surgery should still allow patients to do so. Otherwise, the surgery has good staff and doctors, and that is the only reason stopping me to leave the surgery. Who knows what would be my experience if I move to another surgery?
