    My current course of treatment started with what I thought was a straight forward illness. However, due to the diligence and professionalism of both doctors I have seen, a more complex condition has been identified and treatment has started following prompt referrals to specialist units. Every member of the team I have dealt with, including receptionists, nurses and doctors, have been extremely polite and helpful. Nobody wants to be ill, but when you get a same day appointment and are listened to and treated, it really helps. Thank you to everyone at Grange Surgery.

    Phoned yesterday to get an appointment and they said they had none left so ring back tomorrow I rang back the next day at 8.30 was on hold to 9 and when I got through there was no appointments and they said ring back the next day I can do that I’m on the sick and needed to see the doctor as I’ve got a major problem with my spine and am waiting to have surgery so am going to have to go in to work and I’m probably going to damage to it as they won’t give me an appointment to see the doctor even though he as left a note on my records saying he wants to see me before I go back to work

    Considering the immense pressure the NHS and General Practice is under at the moment, I have received the highest service today at The Grange. Excellent access to an appointment. Helpful reception staff. Lovely GP who listened and was very professional and caring .

    Called the repeat prescription line I was on hold for 10 mins then then cut off. Called again was on hold for 35 mins. Went into the practice to order repeat prescription. When I askec what the issues where regarding my calls there was no attempt to apologise only told that there was only 1 member if staff upstairs. Again they could of handled it with more customer courtesay as i was made to feel it was my fault for asking why I had to come to the practice. I seemed quite an inconvenience to them. The prescription was for my elderley father. I have no issue with the medical staff at the practice but if that is the first point of contact for the NHS then it it is sadly lacking
