When you think something might be wrong with you, not sure what, it’s easy to worry. And it’s easy to not know how things work in medicine. How appreciative then am I to come to Trevelyan house and meet people who made me feel like they take it on board, act (call when they say they will) advise and above all…. Care. Wish all practices could be like this one

Following surgery, the aftercare from the practice nurses has been fantastic. They scheduled appointments at short notice, really took time to make sure that I was comfortable and ensured that my recovery was as smooth as possible. Thank you

My GP referred me for a local scheme to encourage weight loss. I joined a local weight loss group and received 12 free sessions to encourage me to commit to a healthy eating programme. I have achieved a goal of losing those pounds and feel much better for it. The surgery were really introducing me to this scheme and with follow ups as to my progress.

I started in April slowly being weened off antidepressants that I had been prescribed because of my reaction to the isolation brought on by the COVID lockdowns. I was anxious about coming off this medication but thanks to the care of a wonderful doctor who monitored me with regular appointments throughout the summer and autumn, I am now free of this medication and feel fine. I do realise how incredibly fortunate I have been as appointments are so often like gold dust. So I thank my doctor and Trevelyan House Surgery enormously for the care that I received which has been just amazing.

Went in at 8.30am and was offered an appointment for that afternoon. Staff are kind and friendly and it’s a modern clean practice.

The Practice has updated its website recently. Now were not only able to have repeat prescriptions orders online but to book a GP consultation via a telephone or Video call online. A progressive way of working and avoiding hours on the phone for a non emergency appointment. But importantly having a confidential communication for requiring an appointment. This practice has always been in the forefront of any changes within the NHS

Recently visited Grafton Medical Partners (Trevelyan House Surgery) for a booster COVID vaccination. Whole experience very well organised, friendly and efficient. This is the NHS at its very best,

I have requested a disabled student allowance letter from my GP as I am diabetic. I was looking to use the letter to apply for the disabled allowance and the gp where kind enough to write the letter as fast as they can and as it was a day before my birthday they decided to not charge me for it which was really nice of them and shows their care and love to their patients. Therefore I would strongly recommend trevelyan house surgery for everyone.

Any time I request an appointment I am given one. Every time. I always feel listened to, I always feel welcome and I always feel comfortable to share any concerns. The GPs are lovely, the pharmacists who assist with med reviews are lovely, and the reception staff are lovely. This is the first GP surgery I’ve been to where the reception staff are genuinely nice and want to help as opposed to judge. In a time where everyone seems to be complaining about their GP surgeries and there being no appointments, I feel so blessed to have Trevelyan as mine. Thank you guys.
