I recently moved to a new area and I totally forgot my Thyroid pill that I take every morning, I had no idea where I have put them but I just could not find it. I was out of the pills for 2 days and getting so agitated and I rang my GP and the gentleman at the reception couldn’t be more helpful and answered my call and passed the message on. My Dr. which I can't name for the review purpose, as usual, so amazingly caring and efficient, I managed to get the pill the following day. I am so grateful for their hard work, I really hope that they have a great Easter break, they need a good rest.

As a person who values quality service and professionalism, I am compelled to share my disappointing experience at the Gower Street Practice. My recent visits left me feeling unheard, dismissed, and ultimately dissatisfied with the level of care provided. First and foremost, the customer service at Gower Street Practice was severely lacking. Staff members exhibited a reluctance to answer my questions in a polite and informative manner. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and understanding, I was met with dismissive responses that failed to provide the clarity and reassurance I sought. Most concerning of all was the incorrect diagnosis I received after enduring seven weeks of pain. Not only was the diagnosis inaccurate, but the prescribed medication proved to be ineffective in addressing my symptoms. This oversight not only prolonged my suffering but also eroded my trust in the competence and expertise of Gower Street Practice. Despite informing them about ineffectiveness of the medicine they prescribed and them telling me that their previous diagnosis weas wrong, they refused to accommodate my reasonable requests for a thorough and complete examination. This refusal was particularly distressing considering the presence of similar symptoms within my family, which were later diagnosed as cancer. This disregard for my concerns not only undermined my confidence in their professionalism but also left me feeling neglected and anxious about my health and well-being. This all happened when I informed them that, due to pain and troubles, I was constantly losing sleep and on the verge of losing my job. I was shocked by the office's refusal to accommodate my needs, even when I explicitly communicated that I was experiencing constant pain. Despite my pleas for assistance, I was denied services and left feeling neglected and uncared for. One particularly frustrating aspect of my experience was the handling of a test sample I provided to the office. Rather than receiving a professional and formal response from a qualified medical professional, I was given an oral brief and unsatisfactory answer by an office staff member (and not a doctor), only after I asked about the test results several weeks after. This lack of proper communication and follow-up only served to exacerbate my concerns and deepen my sense of frustration. From poor customer service and dismissive attitudes to incorrect diagnoses and ineffective treatment, the level of care provided was simply unacceptable.

I recently moved to this GP practice. I can only say that I have found this GP practice totally helpful and supportive (they are so much better than the practice I transferred from). The phone has been answered quickly each time I have called. When I needed a prescription a GP sorted it within hours. The staff are always helpful and polite. Another GP got me a hospital referral within weeks, I saw a specialist who diagnosed and prescribed and my health has improved already. I had been trying to get help for that issue from my previous GP practice for 3 years. Thank goodness for these people at Gower Street.
