Review titled Wonderful staff, highly recommended
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Fiona C - Posted on 30 June 2025
I am really happy with the care I've received from this practice. I have always been able to get an appointment within a reasonable time, as has my infant daughter. Referrals to secondary care have also been efficient. All the staff are brilliant - the reception team are helpful and polite, the nurses are great, and the doctors really do listen. Highly recommend. One particular consultation stands out - I was worried about a rash on my daughter's leg. I called up on Monday morning and my daughter was seen later that morning and appropriately referred to hospital.

Review titled Poor Reception Service but Medical Professionals were Exceptionally Outstanding
by Rowena LEE - Posted on 27 May 2025
Medical Doctor helped avert my life-changing medical issues. I am forever grateful. Receptionist who answered my call at around 16:30 on 21st May. The issues : (a) I was accused of shouting. I did not. My voice was gentle and calm especially as I was ill at that time. (b) The receptionist answering my call knew I was referred back by A&E of St. Mary’s Hospital to GP and still refused my appointment. I was then then asked for my symptoms which was fair enough but he refused my appointment stating that I did not feel painful so I don’t have illness, eventhough I told the receptionist my symptoms was urine incontinence. After repeated request, I was given an appointment on 23rd May (Friday) - for urine check, I would then have to wait for another weekend to get results. I have been feeling distressed and cancelled the appointment Friday despite my symptoms persist because I wanted myself to feel less distressed before I come in.

Review titled Very good practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I saw Dr (?) at 11.30 am...the Team at the front desk managed to get an appointment for me even though I had phoned in some discomfort at 10.30am. I limped in, was seen promptly at 11.30am. I was prescribed Naproxidene and from a position of significant pain when walking, by the afternoon I was able to walk comfortably. There are blood tests to come to try to get to the bottom of a recurring problem. However the relief has been wonderful. Many thanks to Dr(?) whom I am unable to name.....and the whole team! Please pass on my thanks to the doctor concerned. Best regards, Michael Kiely

Review titled Uncomfortable experience
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I visited the practice for the first time after registering as a patient and was advised to request a urine test during my phone appointment. Upon approaching the reception desk, a staff member informed me—without lowering their voice—that such tests are conducted at a nearby pharmacy. They proceeded to explicitly state, in a crowded waiting area, that the test would screen for urinary tract infections (UTIs). This public disclosure of personal medical information caused significant embarrassment, as it was shared within earshot of other patients. While I appreciate the need for clarity, the explicit mention of the test’s purpose felt unnecessary and invasive, as I was already aware of the reason for the referral. Patient confidentiality is a cornerstone of healthcare, and I believe this incident highlights a need for improved staff training on safeguarding sensitive information, particularly in public settings.

I was very impressed with the organisation of the flu & Covid vaccinations on 5/10. Large numbers of patients were vaccinated without long waits. Was a good experience. All staff worked with kindness & good humour. Thank you.

The doctors, etc work hard and the flue and Covid jabs were done, I did not feel a thing and it was like clockwork. The next day my Covid arm was a bit stiff, that was all.

Review titled Very efficient
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended for a flu jab. It was set up very efficiently in the waiting area. I did not have to wait at all but was seen immediately. I elected not to have a covid jab at this time as I have one booked for next Saturday. Last year I had both at the same time and having two sore arms made it difficult to sleep!
