  1. Review titled Nice staff but Completely understaffed and overwhelmed

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Mrs Patient of 42 years - Posted on 15 June 2022

I find it can be near impossible to get through by phone, currently takes over an hour and as it has to be at 08:00 hrs it is not possible to hold for a long time as its school and work time. I find some of the admin can be obstructive and it seems they have no appointments, then when need documents like reports of tests they struggle with old computers and issues. There is almost always a huge que and long waits to ask the desk for anything. Online booking doesn't work, can book a blood test on it but that's about it. I've been a patient here for decades - I find it is understaffed a lot of the time with stressed admin and no way of getting a follow up for serious conditions (that a&e cannot help with) and even when having severe pain they do not want to prescribe pain relief - if one cannot walk or eork without analgesia what do they do? I was referred to a pain specialist at romford hospital, but it was useless too. No help and just told he didn't have a magic wand....... it feels like the NHS are being focused to close / privatise by the government who do not understand being on a low income as cannot work due to poor health that cannot be helped as no staff or money to help. I've been on hold for 2 hours today - answering machine says it is due to training..... how can they close the whole place for training. People do not stop being sick for training? I called at 0800am - number 18 in que. Finally got to second place then it said "your call is about yo be answered" then put me at 15 in que!!?!?! Its a terrible service and a terrible government in charge. It is not the staffs fault. They must have huge retention problems.

  2. Review titled very disappointed

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am very very disappointed and also feeling heart broken by them . I am trying to get an appointment from last 10 days .When i call them they said go to online and when i go online they said call your gp. In 4 years after registering with them i never get a appointment. I got very bad allergy on my face which is increasing by every passing day but no one is willing to help me. They told me to call GP hub which took 40 minutes on hold and then disconnect the call. I called them again they took 58 minutes and then the call disconnected. I am literally crying to see the doctor. I need help but there is no one to see. Then in the last i booked myself with a private dermatologist who charge me alot. I am tax for free medical but i am not getting the chance to see the doctor. This is very frustrated when you have 3 kids to look after. I am mentally exhausted crying for the appointment to see the doctor but all in vain. I will say definitely a no to this GP. Because in the end you guys are just wasting your time.
