    Lung Cancer patient if chest cold told call your doctor get antibiotics Reception response one moment please oh head receptionist says we cant help you call 111 All that was required was antibiotics which is standard to avoid sepsis etc Complete indiference is amazing

    Really bad service. I've been calling 2 day in a row at 8 o'clock .for my 1 months baby he hade a fever 37.9 . I called 111 they advised me to make a gp appointment and but gp never have appointment. I was nr 4 on the que when she answer she said no appointment left . So only 3 appointment in one day they go . Really bad service .

    Doctor was quick to give me an appointment to get my throat investigated. And the communication between doctor and myself was great. Recommended options were given to help me. Follow up calls to update me on medication given and further advice as well.

    Our son is 8 weeks old, he is our first baby and obviously this is his first set of vaccinations. Although we have read the literature in advance we did not really know what to expect and were quite nervous as to how he would respond and the possible side effects of these vaccinations. The care we received from the nurse was negligible, with no opportunities to ask questions or discussions of aftercare. The nurse told me to 'wake the baby' to give him the oral medicine and then proceeded to give me a list of condescending and confusing instructions, to try and wake him to administer the medicine, whilst jamming a plastic stopper into our babies mouth with little care as to whether this would hurt him. She then gave the injections with no discussion as to what they were or any kind word to say when our son cried. She just told us to get him dressed. I had to ask if there was anything else we needed to discuss or do. There was no opportunity to ask questions or discuss any other aspect of our son's care with her. My husband asked about the likely hood of fever after the vaccinations and was bushed off with the comment 'well everyone is different'. It seemed as though we were an inconvenience to her and she did not want to interact with us or answer any of our questions. I understand that appointment times are limited but we were in the room less than 10 minutes and have come away feeling profoundly negative about the whole experience and lacking in aftercare knowledge.

    Calling to confirm an appointment for my older brother who is severely disabled and stuck on hold for well over an hour this is utterly unacceptable.
