Required a private medical certificate at short notice. Initial phone call was friendly and provided an email address to contact with the Occupational health team,email sent and same day had phone call back offering appointment for the next day. Also received very detailed informative email to help with appointment. Easy, friendly, excellent and helpful service provided by the Occupational Health team. Many thanks

My GP is absolutely first class and a very nice decent person. Receptionist needs to talk much more quietly. Sometimes all the nearest waiting area can hear what she is saying to the patient when it might be confidential.

Came with my 18 months old son for an urgent appointment today (2.50pm). Left without been seen at 3.25pm. Still don't know what to do - we haven't received any medical help, the problem is urgent. If the problem perists, we have to go to A&E - because our GP ignored my baby. What I'm doing now - looking for a private doctor to help my son. I'm a working mom, a taxpayer. Why this GP think my 18-months old son deserves this rubbish attitude?? They just ignored us

I’ve been with friarsgate off and on since my childhood (recently returned to winchester again) and I feel so lucky to have such a well run and well resourced practise to call upon. I’ve only ever had positive experiences and feel so thankful for the staff they have working there. Recently I had a flare up of a condition and was called back within an hour, perscribed some treatment late on a Friday which saw me through the weekend. Upon calling on the Monday following I was seen within two hours, and sent for follow up scans at hospital by the time I got home. I felt heard and comforted as well as being made to feel the clinician had time to listen and talk. This has often been the experience whoever you see. Thank you to all the caring staff and the well run practise - very appreciative for you all!

Really excellent, my doctor took time to listen and discuss my health with me, without any sense of feeling rushed. He also took time to send a follow-up text message with a link to a useful resource. Many thanks

I have been a patient with Friarsgate for nearly forty years and I can honestly say the exemplary service has always been consistently caring and professional. I have often spoken to friends and colleagues in other areas of the country and quickly realised they are unable to see a doctor at short notice and sadly have become completely disillusioned . We are so fortunate to have our wonderful and super efficient Friarsgate Practice in Winchester. Thank you .

I submitted an e-consultation at 1051hrs today and promptly had a text telling me a clinician would be in touch this morning. At 1243hrs I had a call from a GP. I received advice and suggested treatment. Thank you to the whole team - very much appreciate your efficient process and care I have received.

The care and advice myself and my daughter received was outstanding! The GP spoke to my daughter taking care she understood the treatments options available to her. She tailored her questions so that my daughter could answer in her own way (selective mutism) We are very lucky to have such a fantastic gp practice in Winchester. I would never change and have been a patient for my whole life nearly 39years! Thank you.

After 2 suspected UTIs, and lower region discomfort. The Doctors, navigators, pharmacists were very supportive and understanding. They were very accommodating when leading a busy life with work and a grown up family life. They recommended the correct creams that assisted with my problem that had gone on for a few weeks.
