    This practice has looked after this patient well. Listened to concerns and invited for GP to review appropriately and promptly. Conaultation is informative and helpful for wellbeing of patient and improvement. Reception is helpful and attentive and a credit to the surgery.

    The booking process could be improved. It took over two weeks to get an appointment. I attended the surgery to collect blood tests form and asked if I can make an appointment to see a doctor . I was told to go online and fill a form which I think is not right. The receptionist should be able to arrange for an appointment without filling online form. But my visit went well with the doctor who showed professionalism and care

    The past 2 yrs that I lived in the same street as the practice, I have only received a phone consultation, had problems with my lungs and asked for face to face consultations was then sent to hospital as they didn’t have anyone that could see me. Had another Phone consultation which they never called. This place is a joke. Avoid this place at all cost. You only gonna waste your time.

    Multiple issues getting repeat prescription approved within 48 hours or when i have requested it in advance due to travelling away, despite repeated requests with surgery and via pharmacy. Has taken over week in the past. I have run out repeatedly, had to postpone going away to obtain prescription and have on several occasions had to use 101 out of hours gp to get my prescription.

    I scheduled a telephone appointment for midday and was eventually called at about 12.45. This is not a good level of service. This is not a general enquiry but a real review so I hope the surgery will not delete it.

    Thank you for taking the time to notify us of your concern about waiting for a clinician to call. Sometimes clinician are called away to emergencies or are delayed due to managing unplanned complex medical conditions. Each patients receives time to explain and understand their condition which can sometimes delay the clinic. We will contact the third party provider of the text messaging system to make the messaging more clear. We do not delete reviews as they are always useful learning points to be discussed with the practice team. In future if you do any concerns please do get in touch with the practice manager.

    Been Registered with the surgery for quite some time I am very happy with the service I was given spoke to a young lady and man on reception very helpful and polite really took there time to help me

    This surgery was really good and since the new owner has taken over you can’t get appointments for anything, I had a bypass surgery in October and still no doctors have called me in as we can’t get face to face appointment and most doctors leave after few months

    We can only apologise that the GP review you had within a week of your discharge from hospital was not considered in your comment. The only doctors who work short periods are GP locums (who cover regular GP leave leave) and GP registrars who are on time limited placements. We have six regular GPs who have shown great dedication and support to patients. We have directly bookable face to face appointments available as well as well as telephone and online appointments. If you have chosen to book a telephone appointment you can ask the GP to visit face to face for the same problem.

    I have had to sort out a number of relatively minor health issues this year and used e-consultation; on 2 I got a call the same day, the rest (about 4 consults) the next day or 48 hours at the latest. The various GPs have all listened, advised and sent immediately information that I the patient need to action. I work within the NHS and understand that whilst e-consultations have really become an embedded service since 2020, it has created a whole new level of how to respond to patient care at a time when services are so stretched for a variety of factors. The response time has been nothing less than very impressive; in my job role I have a relatively wide experience of patient experience using e-consultations and Francis Road definitely get an A star response

    Been contacting the surgery for the last 2 weeks for an urgent repeat prescription to be approved, eventually it got declined. Reception never passes message to GP, and very exhausting to try and get anything resolved as there’s never appointments

    Dear Anonymous. Please contact the practice manager to discuss your experience in more detail. Medications are only declined for patient safety particularly when we have had no response to invites for a safety review. We have appointments available within a few days if you complete an e-consult via our website.
