    After 10 days feeling unwell I used the online booking service at the Gadhvi practice to make an appointment. The earliest available was 10 days later. It was a telephone appointment (not my preference). I waited for over an hour for the GP to ring - no call. Eventually my phone rang 90 minutes after the appointment time when I was back at work. No message was left, no apology. I feel angry and as if my health is unimportant. I have been a patient at this practice for 30 years but am considering moving. I know the NHS is in dire circumstances. Last year I did see a GP at the practice who referred me to the Homerton Hospital for tests in July. I received a letter from the Homerton saying that if I had not received an appointment by November I could phone. Today's experience confirms for me that I cannot rely on getting medical help.

    I phoned Gadhvi Practice. They booked a time for myself and my daughter so it was convenient. They listened to what I needed and were very professional. Great service

    It’s not very easy to find my veins, but the nurse was very patient and professional, which means this was accomplished with no discomfort at all

    I arrive at the practice for a blood test 45 min before my appointment. Only then to be told that it wasn’t possible as the systems were down. There was no communication provided by the practice that this had happened and that I should just rearrange. A generic txt would have been sufficient to all patients to advise of what was happening, would have avoided me taking time off of work to make this appointment.

    Dear Service User, Unfortunately on the morning in question the provide of our Wi-Fi service had a major issue and we were unable to access our IT System. The practice was not given any notice that this was going to happen, when staff arrived that morning the IT system was working but due to unforeseen circumstances there was a failure. This is why patients were not called before hand. This IT issue mainly affected the HCA as she needs to know what blood test patients are having before the procedure can be done and all that information is on the IT System. We did inform patients that had blood test booked, that they could re- book or await a phone call from the practice to tell them to come back to surgery when the IT system would be up and running. The down time was about an hour and the practice apologies for any inconvenience that this caused. I hope you was able to get your blood test done on a alternative day. There is a limited walk-in service, and we cannot guarantee that you will be seen if you do not have an appointment.     I saw the nurse, she was great. Very welcoming and friendly. She put me at ease as I hate needles. She explained everything to me and the importance of taking my inhaler. She was also very good with the blood test, hardly felt a thing

    The duty nurse welcomed me to her surgery room. She first checked my present weight, thereafter she recorded my blood pressure from both arms, she recorded the readings from both the arms twice, she then took my blood from my right arm for further tests at the laboratory, she issued me with literature for a diabetic diet, once I reached home I went read the leaflet and found it very informative, i was then asked to drop the blood samples at the reception area She was very helpful and assisted me during the full examination with her Her assistances is much appreciated

    Been to this GP a handful of times and each and every time the visit has been appalling. The receptionist are extremely rude and will not answer your phone call whatsoever. The Gadhvi practice is one of the worst GPs you could join.

    I’m happy with the attention that I got concerning the problem with my thumb. The doctor was polite and helpful with my past issues that I showed her. They are are going to give medication to relieve my pain and the swelling on my feet.

    Ankle has been swollen for a longtime. Was seen as a emergency appt...said i needed blood tests...was seen at the beginning of September and got blood tests sorted Thursday the next day. Quickly done...and before my holiday not when i get back

  10. Review titled Getting a flu jab.

    The staff at the reception are stars. I had my flu jab and it was in a caring and pleasant manner. Thanks very much. The service one gets at the surgery is most welcoming and pleasant and helpful from the top, the doctors the reception and all the other supporting staff. Thanks very much.
