I was issued with a high dose prescription to address concerns regarding a long-term medical problem. Unfortunately, the prescription had no discernible impact on the symptoms of that illness. I agreed with the GP that I should come off this medication due to a lack of impact. As I attempted to reduce dosage, I have suffered a range of side effects that have left me feeling significantly worse than when I started engaging with the practice. When I presented this information to the GP, it was suggested that I should remain on the highest dose of medication while they look into it. This was months ago and I haven’t heard anything. I have slowly attempted to reduce dosage multiple times since this time but this leaves me unable to leave my bed. This situation has effectively left me addicted to a high dose of a substance that has no benefit and only worsens my life. Unfortunately, the practice knew of my medical history and specifically should not have prescribed a high dose of this drug. Even with this mistake, any level of monitoring, support or communication could have prevented this situation. Instead, I’m left unable to perform daily functions or receive an appointment or telephone call despite multiple requests. would recommend all patients to leave this service as there as caring patient support and GP services available elsewhere locally.

Went monday 3rd june for appointment explained was in alot of pain etc told no appointments call on 4th june at eight eleven and two no luck..today 5th june i went in explaining i really need to see a dtr aas the pain etc was so bad and was told i would have to wait until the end of the month...How can this be right on any level. You phone and always are told no appointments. When I questioned this I was told in no uncetain terms to queue outside at 8 in the morning like everyone else. This isn't acceptable for anyone especially the elderly. I will now have to go to A&E because of this. Someone in so much pain and can't get an appointment and I feel the receptionists shouldn't question what is wrong with you that is between me and the doctor. Very unhappy with the treatment.

Phoned asking for help to manage withdrawal symptoms. Don't need a face to face, just a telephone call would have done, no can't do anything. Can book in for a weeks time when I've probably gotten over them but no help for now.

Phoned appointments today and was answered straight away.asked for a repeat B12 injection and was told there was an appointment in 15 minutes. Had additional BP tests and left with a cheery wave . Brilliant experience!

Flansham Park Surgery has ceased using the e-consult service that at least allowed them to triage cases correctly. If you call the surgery you are left in an interminable queue, which often disconnects you, and as this morning, we were waiting for 53 minutes for the phone to be answered. To be then told "there is no-one here to see you" and "you should have called earlier" - the surgery opened at 8.00am and we called at 8.00am. If there are no doctors, then an alternative appointment should be offered. Flansham's website states you can book an appointment on the NHS app - I have never been able to do so, the only way to book a repeat appointment is if the doctor books it themselves, reception refuse to book appointments in advance, leaving you to attempt to book an appointment at the right time to suit them, taking hours to do so. Today, the reception staff refused an appointment for a patient with multiple chronic conditions. Their response was "go to hospital if it's serious". The CQC should inspect the surgery for it's failings to provide basic care to it's patients, many of whom have no other available surgeries and are stuck using them as other surgeries won't accept "out of area registrations" when you call them.

I went into the surgery this morning to see if I could get an appointment today for an ongoing health issue.The receptionist was so helpful and understanding.I got an appointment for the afternoon.Was very impressed.Staff always friendly and do their best to help.Thankyou
