I had bloods taken very quickly and painless which has not always been the case in hospitals , I have been at the practice for over 40 years , I cannot find any fault with the care I or my family have had , the staff all work very hard

Took my two children in for their 1 year and pre school jabs. The nurse was lovely with us, very efficient and conscious of keeping it as calm as possible for the two of them. She even had extra stickers for them!

Best thing you’ve done!! Opening up at 8am so patients can queue speak to a real person and get a fast call back!! So much better than pressing that re-call button 200 (yes 200 times!!) & being No 10 in the Q and that’s when you have eventually got thru!! Usually takes 30 mins to get thru!!! What next showing up taking a number & being seen by next available GP That’s what we used to do & it worked!!

The doctor saw my 5 month old daughter this morning while she was suffering croup. I phoned at 8.30am and had an appointment for 9.20am. The doctor made this visit completely stress free and put my mind at rest. He was fantastic with my daughter and kept her smiling throughout. All of the staff here are fantastic and can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond. I have never had a bad experience here unlike other GP surgeries I have been to.

Since Covid and the move from Appleton to Fir Park this doctors surgery has gone from brilliant were you could always get to see a doctor to terrible. You sit in a queue trying to get through for nearly an hour only to be told there are no triage appointments left and to try another day. When you finally do get an appointment the doctors never want to see you face to face anymore and just want to get you ticked off as quick as possible over the phone. You never used to be prescribed antibiotics over the phone and now the doctors seem happy to do so. You end up self prescribing. It seems like everything is done to keep you away from the surgery. You can't even get to see a doctor face to face with mental health issues which I would say is unacceptable. This surgery is now poor and I would recommend using a different service to anyone.

Firstly, the facilities, medical staff, doctors etc are fantastic. Absolutely no issues with them at all. The problem is getting an appointment to actually see the fantastic staff. Unfortunately, over the last month, I’ve had to contact my GP to resolve a medical issue. At 0800hrs, I promptly call, I tried calling before to beat the queue however the phone system will not allow it. After 1.5hrs and 243 call attempts later my phone was answered to a message stating I was 11th in the queue. After another 35min I was informed that there were no appointments left for the day and to try again in the morning. Next day, the same happened followed by the next and the next. Eventually, despite my medical condition making it difficult to walk, I attended the practice after trying to get through for 40min. I was expecting a queue out the door but was surprised to find the practice empty. I assumed that i would here constant wringing or staff on call after call, after all I couldn’t even get through due to the volume of calls. However I was new with silence. Once receptionist manning the front desk and two behind the front desk operating the phone booking or internet system. The lovely lady gave me an appointment straight away. If you need an appointment avoid the phone booking system and walk/crawl to the doctors to get one. It seems to be the only way. The booking system need to be looked into asap because it causes stress and anxiety to your patients. It’s simply not adequate to book appointments at all. The doctors and nurses are great, and the receptionists are only working with the tools they’ve been given. But the management need to address this issue

Today was my first appointment at this practice as luckily I don’t tend to get sick often. Today was a routine check-up and I was fortunate with the nurse I had. She was very professional but also incredibly friendly and welcoming, putting me completely at ease. The surgery itself is spotlessly clean and has a lovely feel to it. Highly recommend it.

Me and my son our fairly new patients of this practice. Today was our first visit to the practice as my little boy was poorly what a remarkable service and new building. I felt the Dr went above and beyond with my son the Dr made him feel so comfortable and re assured him. Made our visit enjoyable and now he says he wants that Dr for life.
