Having asked for an appt for my poorly 7 year old grandson to be seen with a high temperature and terrible cough was told to go to urgent treatment centre … which is usually full with long waiting times … it just isn’t good enough ,

Review titled Hopeless
Rated 1 star out of 5

You'll notice that Ferrybridge medical Centre hasn't responded to any of the reviews. Probably because they're all completely accurate. Every time you ring you've to wait for ever. This time I got through only to be told to ring back at 8am why can't they run a proper appointment system like any other professional organisation. I shall struggle on until either get better or go straight to the hospital. I have even considered a private GP for efficiency's sake but why should I?

I had to pay for taxis which cost 8 pound there and back as I had a appointment for smear test when I arrived they said they couldn't do it because it wasn't due to oct but they had me booked in today no one rang me or told me that it wasn't due till October I also had to come put of work early they say they can fine you if you don't show up to appointments but yet they carnt give you money back when you've gone out your way to get there very disappointed. Thanks

Review titled Total waste of time

I have phoned numerous times to be fobbed off constantly. When i phoned to book a smear test was asked who told me to do this. Shocking !. Just before Christmas I had strep throat my husband ended up examining my throat to try to explain to the nurse. He had no idea but hey ho. Today I phoned yet again to be fobbed off . What is going on with this practice I've not seen a doctor for over 3 years. Evan a simple request is too much so your not talking over someone who needs the appointment more in person. This needs sorting. It's a serious issue. I've no words on how bad they are as a medical practitioners. First do no harm god knows how other people are going through.

Was ok about 4 yr ago but now,its just awfull
