Practice open not shut seen prefered GP given thorough examination highly recommended on this visit can be seen over 3 sites The Doctor is very good and I was looked after during appointment

Impossible to get an appointment either personally, over the phone, or by the app. The my GP app never works, even if calling them several times at 8.00, the voicemail says, that they cannot answer calls. If I call 10 min later, I am the 50th in the queue, if manage to call, no appointment. If I go there, they say I call them in the morning and they don't book on the day or in advance. I need urgent referrals and cannot even start the process.

It’s impossible to get an appointment. It’s impossible to get through on the phone to speak to anyone without a 30min wait. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone

I would like to say that my experience once you can get through and speak to someone or finally get an appointment is great. The Practice Nurses are all 1st class and always happy and supportive. Reception staff are a bit hit and miss, some helpful, some awkward and cold. The doctors once you see them always friendly. The waiting room is cold and dismal and in need of some colour and brightness. Main issue is actually getting an appointment, I called every day at the specified time and it was constantly engaged, when I did get through, no appointments left. After 5mths I finally got one and was sorted out but its so sad it took so long in getting an appointment. Unfortunately this has made a great surgery into something in need of more doctors, access quicker and a waiting room to be proud of. There is the app, but what use is it when your surgery doesnt have online booking and what access you do have is very generic anyway. It turned on its head when it joined Excel Primary Care. We need the good, back!!
