Rated 3 stars out of 5

I ordered items off my prescription 2 items I ordered were not processed by the prescription team,I received items I did not want of my prescription it is not the first time this has happened to me,I am careful to make sure I tick the items I want clearly but it does not seem to work. I underline all my prescriptions with I ruler to separate the said items I then tick the ones I need how they do not process them as I indicate I do not know,I ordered Novorapid 100 units I did not receive the item I ordered Jardiance I did not receive it, what I did get was co-codomol and a inhaler both of which I never ordered this is not the first time this has happened and I have sourced the two missing prescriptions from Pharmacy to u so can you please make sure my prescription is checked please before I receive it thank you Bernard Strong

  2. Review titled More training required

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have been with this practice for one year now and my experiences continue to worsen. Initially, the surgery showed how unconfident they are with their decisions by ringing me hours after my appointment to change treatment/diagnoses’. Every time this happened the second outcome would be something like ‘go to a&e’ and then on attending a&e I’m asked why I’m there I don’t need to be there! Recently, I have experienced awful customer service on the phones with most members of staff not answering the phone correctly or going silent for long periods as they ‘can’t find’ where I was booked etc. This is something that has shocked me as I have 6 year’s experience working in practices (all not great) and have never heard staff sound so untrained! One time I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before I asked how long the wait would be. They told me the midwife I’m booked with doesn’t work here anymore so you’re not going to be seen. The senior staff there at the time said they were shocked I wasn’t going ‘mad’ at them. Again this could’ve been easily avoided if the receptionist actually checked what she is ‘arriving’ on the system. From experience I know it states the clinicians name on each appointment. I could go on but really don’t have the time. One positive I’ve taken is they won’t ever miss any diagnoses as they are too scared to do so by over examining/ discussing each case with a more senior GP!

Everyone I have encountered in this practice is so lovely and attentive. Reception do all they can to get you an appointment, even on a Saturday! Doctors and Nurses are great, listen to everything you say and don’t make you feel like you are being brushed off. I recommend Engleton to everyone.

  5. Review titled Awful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been trying to get hold of someone on the phone for over a month now to get an emergency appointment with a doctor. I was told to ring at 8am in the morning which I have done nearly every single day to sit there on hold for over an hour at times or not even get through as line is constantly busy. When I do eventually get through I am either cut off , told I cant make an appointment or told to call back tomorrow or given an appointment for months away. I am extremely frustrated and angry with this as I am in need of a doctor's appointment urgently. Other surgeries are seeing patients on the same day as calling I don't understand why I can't make an appointment, why the phones aren't being answered or just totally cut off. The service provided just isn't good enough and is totally unacceptable.
