  1. Review titled From bad to worse.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Dropped in this morning to get an appt. for my daughter. Told no appointments for three weeks. Told to try ringing at 8.00 in the morning which is not possible due to work commitments. This practice has been poor for twenty years but there has been a dramatic decline in the last ten years. It's just dreadful.

I am sorry to hear your experience of making an appointment for your daughter was frustrating. We do offer a full range of appointment types - anything urgent we will triage on the day but we also offer routine consultations which can be either telephone or face-to-face. There may be a wait time for these. You can also contact us using the eConsult on-line platform via the practice website. We have tried hard to evolve the appointment system coming out of the pandemic, and have a range of new staff including Physician Associates as well as a scheme working with a local Community Pharmacy to try and help alleviate the pressure on GP appointments.

  2. Review titled Appointment system terrible

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I made an advance appointment for a face to face for 10 days ahead, the earliest i could get on a day when I wasn’t working. When I arrived I was told I didn’t have an appointment and so I couldn’t be seen. I showed them the record of the day i phoned. The entry in my calendar with the doctors name. I had never seen her before so I wouldn’t have known it any other way. The receptionist hadn’t sent me a text message to confirm so it was not recorded but no apology. Their fault. There was nothing they would do even though I had just driven for 3 hours to get here. So much for patient care. I will now have to have a phone call at work tomorrow which is what I wanted to avoid. This system is broken.

  3. Review titled Fabulous

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This is a fabulous surgery. The drs are hard working, caring, and conscientious. The reception staff are lovely and always try their best to help. The reception manager, deserves a special mention as goes over and above. I have absolutely no complaints about this surgery. I've been with them for 23 years and always found them fantastic. They were fabulous during the pandemic. The e-consults are great and they always ring you back and book you in for a f2f appointment if they need to see you.

  4. Review titled Avoid

I called yesterday as I was experiencing severe ear pain with temperature. Doc. xxx prescribed me a nasal spray regardless my request for an antibiotics as I was feeling awful and ear pain was getting worse over the past 3 days. She said I didn't need one, that antibiotics won't help me. Over night, my temperature went higher and I felt more pain and ear area started swelling. I called again today and I was told that I spoke with a doc yesterday. I explained that my symptoms got worse and I did also reply to the message she sent me yesterday through their system to let her know I was getting worse. I had to go to Urgent Treatment at Ealing Hospital where a doctor looked in my ear and said that an antibiotics was really much needed. He gave me a box with 15 capsule of amoxicillin to take... Infections could have gone worsen and caused major long lasting problems, the quality of care of this GP is extremely low
