    I am being treated for sciatica and yesterday the Reception Manager arranged for the District Nurse to call and do a blood test for me, since I am unable to walk, and this took place today. Furthermore, the On Call Doctor rang the Physiotherapy Service to get me an appointment which is now scheduled for next week. I am very grateful to them both for their excellent help and advice. Well done to all involved.

    I have registered with elbury moor because farrier house is closing. I was told that everything would change over to them and be straight forward. My partner and I registered, was told that it would take 3 days which was ok. Was not told at the time that we needed to have a medical review before they would prescribe anything and they take 3 weeks. I am copd stage 4 and just had varicose vein surgery, also registered enhanced mobility with PIP. I can get an emergency review if I ring at 8 am. After 40 minutes waiting to be answered I was told that they have no record of any medication I am on so I have to go back to farrier house and get them to email it. Farrier house says it doesn't have email address and I have to ring elbury moor again to get them to send and email. This is where I am at present. I desperately need inhaler as also asthmatic and I'm losing the will to live

    The Practice Chemist rang me two days ago to discuss some of my medications that I have taken for the last five years. She kindly informed me that she needed to check that I was not suffering any double vision, heart palpitations, dizziness or upset stomachs from my medications. I was more than happy to confirm that I was not currently experiencing any such symptoms. Throughout the call the Chemist was kind, very informative, polite and dealt with all of my questions. Thank you so much for such excellent service and medical advice.

    Last Thursday morning my wife and I submitted repeat monthly prescription requests to the Surgery Prescriptions Team. In less than 24 hours later, the prescription requests had been swiftly processed and delivered by the Chemists concerned. Excellent service from Elbury Moor Surgery and the brilliant Prescriptions Team. We are so thankful for all of your professional expertise and support.

    I rang for an appointment at 9 o'clock on 16/08/2023 and was seen by the duty doctor on the same day at 10 o'clock. I have been with this practice since 1974 and myself and my family have always been treated with professionalism and sympathetic care. On the occassions when i need to see a doctor the reception staff have always been courteous and professional. It's nice to see they've had the same core of doctors for a long time. They always listen to my conerns. Covid was a difficult time for the practice and for patients but I was happy then and now to have a telephone consultation if appropriate. So pleased I belong to this practice.

    Earlier this week I took a private prescription from my Specialist to the chemist. She informed me that for her to dispense 28 Prednisolone capsules would cost me £850. I went to the Surgery and the Reception Team Manager checked with the chemist that £850 would be the costs involved. We returned to the Surgery and the on duty GP gave me an NHS Prescription for the capsules. I am extremely grateful to the kind, caring and professional Reception Team Manager for her advice and assistance. Also, many thanks to the GP concerned. The Surgery should be proud of the excellent services it provides to patients. Thank you very much.

    My wife took a private prescription for some 28 Prednisolone Capsules to the Chemist adjacent to Elbury Moor Surgery. The duty Chemist informed her that the cost of prescribing these tablets would be an astronomical amount of £855.00p. We went to the Surgery to ask for advice and the Reception Manager spoke to us and then kindly went to the Chemist concerned to check on the costs. She was assured that the cost would definitely be £855.00p, so she returned to the surgery in order to consult with a GP. Thankfully, the GP agreed to issue my wife with an NHS Prescription for the required Capsules and she was able to order them the Chemist. I wish to thank the brilliant, caring and supportive Reception Manager for her kindness and help. Many thanks to the GP concerned for his timely and professional services. We are lucky to have such an excellent set of GP’s, Nurses and Reception Team who provide such truly outstanding medical services.

    Today, my wife took a prescription for eight weeks of medication to our local chemist which had been prescribed to her by the Consultant at Worcestershire Royal Hospital. The on duty chemist refused to prepare the eight weeks of medication and he would only dispense two weeks of medication. We immediately went to Elbury Moor Surgery and the Practice Nurse - Respiratory consulted with one of the GP’s. The GP concerned immediately issued a prescription for six weeks of medication. Absolutely brilliant service from both the Practice Nurse and GP. Their actions prove to me that the NHS is well and alive at Elbury Moor Surgery.

    Elbury Moor surgery has recently undertaken the latest set of Covid Vaccinations for those over 75, and those suffering from autoimmune problems, like myself. The programme of vaccinations was superbly organised by the Practice Manager ably supported by her administrative team and the practice excellent nursing staff. On arrival, the appointments were all on time and I benefited from the professionalism and advice from the Practice Nurse. Thank you to all those involved for such brilliant service.

    I have found the staff at Elbury Moor to have a terrible attitude. Patients are treated like an inconvenience. The reception staff are more interested in telling you how busy they are than actually dealing with your problem, they only want to tell you what they cannot do, not what they actually can do to help. Also had a bad experience with one of the ANPs who was dismissive, patronising and unsympathetic.
