  1. Review titled Staff at reception Unhelpful and unsympathetic

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I’ve been a patient at this practice for many years and the staff at the reception have always been challenging. It’s difficult to get appointment with the doctors and the reception staff make it even harder by being challenging about rules and gatekeeping. the doctors on the other hand are very good. You are never able to get urgent appointments unless you are willing to hang on the phone for over 60 minutes. Doctor iq has its benefits but appointments get taken up early morning so unless you live a life with zero responsibilities good luck getting an appointment through the app!

  2. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been with Edith Cavell surgery for just over 3 years now and it used to be an amazing surgery with nice staff. It has progressively been worsening up to the point that is impossible to get an appointment with a doctor. You can only take appointments over the phone from 8 am and the wait is never less than 1 hour which means that by then all appointments are gone. You cannot physically go to the surgery and book an appointment as they say the only way is over the phone. Some of the old reception staff are still there and try to help but what is in their power is very limited. New reception staff is also extremely rude, unpolite and unhelpful. It is such a shame to see how an extremely good surgery ended up. Do not recommend

  3. Review titled Worst service

Rated 1 star out of 5

I’ve been trying to get in touch with the GP to book an appointment for my son who is 6years old and unwell. Haven’t been able to get connected to the reception even once inspite of multiple attempts to call through the week. Do the phone lines even work? They ask us to use an app, that is not user friendly and I’m not able to book an appointment through that. Never felt so helpless. So should we go to the A&E everytime? What are GPs for?
