Getting an appointment is nigh on impossible. If you do manage to get one then it's 3 weeks away. Today I tried to cancel an appointment I have for one of my children for tomorrow however when I try to phone to cancel the booking I'm in a phone queue as no. 17 which I know will take an hour to process so gave up.

From ringing to make an appointment to referral for hip replacement surgery I have been extremely impressed with the way I have been treated by all members of staff I have encountered, and with the speed that everything has happened. I have always been very happy with the practice and this recent experience has only consolidated that feeling.

I’ve recently had a spell of I’ll health meaning frequent visits to the surgery, every member of staff ( reception,admin over the phone, nurses, doctors) has been friendly and helpful.

Cut my hand badly and couldn’t change the dressing myself, altho they were busy, they found me a lovely HCA who could change it within an hour of my calling

The nurse I was booked in with for my jab was off sick but the practice still managed to fit me in between other patients. The nurse that attended to me made time to make me feel relaxed and informed. A very positive visit to the practice.

All the staff are excellent. The doctors are very caring, understanding and helpful. The reception staff are all polite and really good.

Fantastic practice! I always find the doctors practice and all of the staff (clinical & administrative) kind, friendly and efficient. Today I went online with a custom medication request, and within minutes I was contacted back by a lovely receptionist, who processed my request, all of my repeat medication and organised for me to be contacted by the pharmacist for a medication review. Thank you so much for being super quick & really helpful as always!

Thank you for your kind comments. The date on your review (10.03.23) was the day of the heavy snow. The staff did an amazing job of keeping both our Practices open on that day. Some walked long distances, some pitched in with snow shovels to clear the paths. Its so nice to know that our efforts were appreciated and made a difference. I’ve been a patient at this practice for over 30 years and I, my husband and our (now grown up) children have always received excellent care from your staff. Since Christmas, I had held off contacting the surgery over a developing cough/wheezing as I thought it was just going to go away, and I knew that the surgery would probably be very busy after the Xmas period. When I did eventually ring, I had missed the day’s allotted appointments but the receptionist, who was extremely kind and patient with me, suggested that I could come to the after hours ‘emergency’ slot that evening. I waited an hour but the doctor, who I’m sure had had a very long and busy day, was very thorough, kind and reassuring. I was feeling really quite unwell by this time and was very grateful for their time and attention. I am now feeling much better, thanks to the antibiotics, and wanted to thank everyone involved for their professional care and support. It’s no secret that GP surgeries and everyone working in the NHS at the moment are facing real challenges and I wanted to say how grateful I am for everything you’re all doing.

I’m currently away for work in Sheffield and had a problem I needed a GP for, I went to apply to be a temporary resident, they weren’t taking on temp residents at the time. However the lady behind the counter was so incredibly kind and helpful to me and was trying her very best to see if she could somehow squeeze me in somewhere and get me a cancelled appointment for the next day before even taking me on. The staff were so helpful and lovely to me (which was so wonderful after struggling all morning with how to solve my problem). I don’t live here but what a lovely welcoming GP surgery
