Rated 5 stars out of 5

After feeling unwell and calling 111 the doctor telephoned me an hour later and I saw her in the afternoon, I was referred to a hospital and was seen the next day. Great service and friendly staff always have a kind word to say. My family are also registered with this surgery and we have always had great service. Well done to the doctor and staff. So many people moan about the NHS but I cannot fault them.

Went on holiday and forgot medication. Phoned surgery and they emailed prescription to a local pharmacy for next day delivery. Excellent service. Also always able to get an appointment when needed. Lovely friendly staff.

  3. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

People are very quick to complain about their doctor. This is why I felt it was so important to outline how amazing my doctor and her staff are. Most doctors' surgeries just treats you as a number. I really feel that my doctor cares about each patient individually. She helped diagnose my husband with gall stones years ago, and recently her and her team literally saved my life. I got a severe kidney infection. I called 111 and 999, but both let me down citing I wasn't a priority as I was young. It started when I called the surgery, whom I can always get through to, and can always get an appointment in a timely manner. I explained the situation, how ill I was, and how no one wanted to help me. The receptionist kindly listened to me with kindness and empathy and went above the call of duty and called the doctor on her day off. The doctor did no more but got a paramedic to visit my home as I was too poorly to travel, which allowed me to get the treatment I so urgently needed and was denied by the NHS initially. Without these people's care and action, I would have died as I was one day away from septic shock. I can not thank the doctor or her team enough. I also find the surgery very clean and well maintained. I feel so lucky to have such a strong and good doctor.

  4. Review titled In a League of its own

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Susan Williams - Posted on 02 March 2023

In todays world we read and hear of many awful situations where people cannot contact their surgery let alone see a GP. This was my experience last week. Feeling extremely unwell I called surgery at 8.00hrs requesting appointment to see doctor. I was then sitting in consultation room at 9.00hrs being examined and arranging treatment. Now feeling so much better. Eastcourt Surgery is an example to be followed, team are always pleasant, helpful and accommodating even when working within very tight schedules. Feel very privileged to be registered with this practice.
