    The staff in this Practice are extremely helpful , very polite and caring . Nothing seems to be a problem for them . They go out of their to help you . My husband had to go for bloods and the appointment was cancelled , we asked why and the lady on the phone said I'm not sure but She found out and phoned us back . Absolutely amazing service we appreciated it thank you

    Received great service from a nurse practitioner in my recent telephone appointment. She dealt with my request to try a new medication quickly and efficiently. Thank you!

    Today 30/01/2025 I had my bloods taken. Although she was young she was very professional and was able to put me at ease and take the required blood sample without any problems. I would have no hesitation in having her for any future thing I needed doing.

    I have been going through some issues, for a couple of years, i was with a previous practice, where the care was good, but i was not being listened to, or really told everything, I changed my practice, to east durham medical group. Where i saw the same person, who i have dealt with every appointment, this has allowed me to get the care that i need, and seeing the same person, which is a hige help, because you get to know each other in a one to one and an understanding and trust. i have had some serious issue over the last few months which could not be forseen, but the care treatment, feels like its not a problem, and someone that does not worry about time slots, listens, and works things out and gives you all in the info, when questions are asked. i feel he goes through A B C, not B C and A. The reception staff, are so helpful, polite, and do the best they can to get you into see the person i wish to see, even down to where there maybe no appointment, but leaves james a message, and i get a call, then he can decide, wether its urgent, or suggest treatment. Everyone is so helpful, listens and does not judge. Even down to when you call, i have had to call a few times, with different things that were of concern, over a short time they have got to know me and remember me when i phone, which also helps them and me get an informed decision, on appointments, or whether phone call would surfice. to save appointments slots, for more people that need it urgently. The refferals to other specialist, is super fast, or results from tests, the time taken to email write to speacialist and the follow up. I aslo have noticed that surgeries are never full, and waiting times are at a min, this is probably due, and i dont know, is to good orgaisation from all the staff in the background, that you see, but never interact with, but working very hard updating your records with test results, emailing and so on, Best this i did for my care, and my health as i get on in years, was to join this team, as long as your respectful, you will get the best care in the current climate, where things are tough for the NHS excuse any typing errors as i have not proof read my comments

    After having repeated issues with incorrect prescriptions, it took me five attempts to get through to anyone. I was told this would be sorted but a prescription was postdated and has caused me to be without medication for a number of days. It has then took multiple days to get through to check this. With working full time, and chronic anxiety this has caused more illness

    Had my bloods done last week, I was able to get a squeezed in for a last minute appointment as I work full time and struggle with getting time off work. My whole experience was extremely positive, nothing was a bother. Everything was explained to me professionally and the whole process was extremely smooth. I was made to feel welcome and comfortable during my appointment as felt as if I could ask any questions I needed too and that I would be giving the answers I needed. Overall a very positive appointment.

    I rang up at 8am and was promptly given an appointment with doctor of my choice . At the appointment he was efficient and caring .

    Booking in process for my appointment was streamlined via the electronic booking in system in the waiting area. This was very user friendly and straightforward to operate. I was seen on time of my appointment by the Doctor who was very polite, personable and professional. The Doctor listened to my explanation and description of symptoms accordingly and after carrying out some routine observations and checks referred me onwards for further exploration and assessment. I felt like I was treated and taken seriously and can appreciate the NHS is under significant strain at the moment but I'm grateful for the time and support provided today. Thank you.

    Had telephone appointment with registrar who then asked me to attend surgery for examination. After a thorough assessment my acute condition was identified and medication prescribed. As usual, very happy with service from this GP practice.
