Review titled Very poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 03 April 2025
Have suffered with chronic lower back pain for over 10 years, i've never really been given a definitive diagnosis on what is causing the issue nor any real help on managing the pain, filled out the 'triage' form this morning and requested a phone call to speak to a doctor, made it clear on the form that I have now run out of any pain management medication and received a text message (no phone call) to make an appointment, first available appointment is in 28 days time! so i'm now left without any medication and chronic back pain for 28 day! technology and automation has made this GP practice inaccessible and quite frankly, none caring, it also doesn't help that if and when you do finally get to speak to a doctor, you never see the same doctor twice, I've been a patient at Earnswood my whole life but will be looking to switch to a GP that actually cares!

Review titled Poor customer service over the phone
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 January 2025
Tried calling for an appointment and was told flat out by the receptionist that they don't make appointments over the phone and I would have to make it online. NHS website shows I should be able to call for an appointment. Very frustrating service.

Review titled Not very good
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Had a cough for over a month then it went away and came back stated with loads of symptoms all I’ve been sugested is to drink water and rest ? Leaving me with sleepless nights because I couldn’t stop coughing, belly in absolute agony from tensing up from coughing, high fever, diarrhoea, tiredness , muscles aches, sensitive to touch and apparently this is minor cough I didn’t deserve any medication, wonder if that’s how their loved ones get treated

Review titled One minute and 51 second GP consultation
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 18 August 2023
One minute and 51 seconds GP telephone consultation, rushed is an understatement. Filled in triage form on-line during the morning, quickly received call from very pleasant member of staff arranging GP appointment. Offered face to face appointment or tel call. I said call would be fine and It was arranged for that afternoon. Thought this was excellent service until the GP rang. My head is in a whirl, had no chance to ask questions or discuss my concerns. No idea what happens next. Left feeling totally lost.

Review titled Poor appointment services
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I called to book an appointment that I needed 2 weeks in advance after a previous consultation only to be told I couldn't do this. I also can't access appointment booking system online,. What is going wrong with surgery that it's impossible to get a pre booked appointment. I am not allowed back to work until I see my gp but am also unable to book an appointment for when I explained my sick note runs out. The whole booking system is wrong and if you are not fortunate enough to manage to get a booking on the day then you are stuck to book. This is so silly since covid

Review titled Very supportive
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Having a long term health condition, being perimenopausal and recently supporting my father who wasn’t well, I use the services of this practice often. I find the GPs and staff at Earnswood to be very helpful and supportive.
