Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been going to this doctors for years and I couldn’t possibly fault any part of the service! From calling to make an appointment To the appointment itself you are made to feel cared for. On more than a few occasions staff at this surgery have gone above and beyond for me and my young daughter. I would also like to note I have always been able to get a appointment and never been told to call back at a different time and if I’m ever unsure about any information different staff members have always made time to make sure everything is explained so I have full understanding before I leave. This is without a doubt a 5 star surgery and I would recommend to anyone and everyone! Thank you to all the receptionists, nurses and doctors!

I attended at 0840 one morning feeling very poorly. There was no queue however I still had to wait whilst the lady in reception continued her chat with the practice manager I explained my problem and was offered an appointment at extended access. I explained I felt too poorly to go there. The receptionist then asked the practice manager if they did telephone consultations. I knew they didn’t and surely if staff are trained then they would too. The practice manager advised no so I was told that as they had GP’s in holiday that was all they could offer me! I again reiterated the fact that I felt too ill too travel anywhere and I was told it was extended access or a walk in centre! I asked if they had a GP in call and if I could be out in their triage list. The receptionist asked the practice manager making me feel very small as if I didn’t matter at all. The practice manager said I could go in the list but the answer would/could be the same and he wasn’t in yet in any event. I’m yet to hear from the on call GP…..I was made to feel very small and even though I repeatedly said I felt too ill to go any where it was as though I was being heard. No empathy or compassion at all which is nearly always the same at this surgery.

He has a cold and a trush. Every time when I went to the doctor they have listen what happened with him, checked him in a cheerful manner because he’s a toddler and is not easy. However every time they have been courteous, patient and helpful.
