    I had been referred by 111 to be called back within 24 hours by my GP, it has now been over 28 hours and they still have not called me regarding my issue. I have tried to call the surgery numerous times, on Monday I called and was number 2 in the queue for half an hour today I called numerous times and the position was not moving forwards at all either. I was supposed to receive a call yesterday at 11.20am this was then changed to 11.20am and then postponed again to 12.35, the time consistently keeps changing and I cannot get through to the surgery. It has been impossible to get through to the surgery, in this time my symptoms keep worsening and it’s difficult to get on wi th my day to day activities.

    I have been a patient of this Practice for over a decade and suffered utter rudeness every time I try to make an appointment to see my doctor.The receptiionists are rude, unprofessional, behave untrained and will do whatever possible to make sure you are not seen by your GP, no matter how ill you are.Surely when one is sick, you can get an appointment to see your doctor? They will advise you to call at 08.00am and when you do, you are met with the response that all appointments have been taken.You are then advised to go to A&E or call 111. I believe this Practice needs investigating by the powers that may be.People are perishing because of their uncaring and rude attitude.Enough is enough!

    Thank you for your feedback. We take comments and feedback from patients very seriously. I am very sorry to hear that you have had a cause for concern. We do have systems in place to monitor staff and I can assure you that your feedback will be shared with the team, especially reception team. We are continuously working hard to improve our services, especially around access and appointments system. We have recently increased number of appointments with GP and other clinicians.     One of the best doctors I cant fault him, but the receptionist need more training in manners, No one I know has ever been asked to provide ID to collect a prescription or told beforehand that they must bring a form of ID, and yet was asked for proof of ID or no script. what do you do if you do not have any ID?. why ask for ID when confirmation of name and address and date of birth should be enough. and then rudely walk away from the patient after handing over the script, when patient needed to collect another script as well.

    The support I have received from a particular support worker as been absolutely brilliant. She has been supporting me for months now. She has referred me to every company that will meet my health and physical needs. She has a great sense of humour and makes me laugh as well as supporting me which makes the whole process easier. I would recommend her all day long. Thank you dear for all you have done for me. Sincere thanks
