I feel I must comment on the whole practice after my visit today. The service from booking the appointment to seeing the GP was really excellent and I have nothing but praise for them all at the surgery. I have been a couple of times recently and have certainly witnessed the customer service going from strength to strength. I feel that I would like to thank them for the really quick, caring service they gave me today. Many thanks for a job well done.

After 42 call attempts, being 4 times in the call queue and being cut off 3 of those time I got through to reception with my query and was assured I would be contacted by a GP within a couple of days only to randomly check my app with an appointment in 3 weeks time. Drs patronising if you’re lucky enough to speak to one. So much bad feedback yet seem to not learn from any of it. Changing practice is the best thing any patient can do!

Dear Anonymous, I am sorry to hear of your experience with the telephone system at the practice. We have specialist telephone software which allows the practice to monitor all calls to and from the surgery, this enables the practice to view individual numbers, the number of attempts made at contacting the practice, how long the calls have waited to be answered, and listen to the conversation which took place. Your Review: I would like to thank the receptionist at Thorpe Medical Practice today (26/5/22) at this surgery. It has been a difficult time for us, but the help, kindness and support I have received from this lady has been perfect. I felt I had to write in as I’ve just come off the phone with her and she was so helpful and understanding.
