Review titled Outstanding practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5

Once again, I put pen to paper to remind everyone how great the Anlaby Surgery is. Right through the epidemic they were there for their patients, maybe a telephone call instead of face to face due to coronavirus but nevertheless it was contact with a medical professional. They are like all practices extremely busy but always find time to care. Their reception staff are efficient and smiling with a 'can do' attitude. How they cope with some of the customers is beyond me but cope they do. Both Doctors are great and explain conditions carefully and, in a manner, we can understand, and don't forget the nurses taking blood samples and caring for patients in their own way. Maybe whoever the Secretary of State for Health is going to be he or she would do well to take note of the Anlaby Surgery model. I will continue to provide them with chocolate biscuits on my visits. Biscuits are not a shining example for the nation's health, but it is a small reward for such a good service.

Review titled Uncaring staff

Speaking to the receptionist and male doctor at this practice has really put me back in my recovery. Doctor didn’t read my medical notes, asked me “what I wanted” (as if I’m a medical professional) and completely patronised and belittled me. Receptionist was rude and snappy and extremely unhelpful. Has made me question going to a doctor again for help as it was such a bad experience. This is not the first time I have seen the doctor and he has made me feel this way.
