  1. Review titled Awful patient service.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Have been a patient here since birth registration (35yrs), never had an issue. but now I have moved out of the practice are. They say they can not treat me nor give appointment's and I would be removed from the register. despite them accepting new patients and accepting out of area patients too. this surgery is more convenient as I pass it everyday to and from work as well as being half the distance from work.

  2. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been suffering with mental health for a while now, I used to go to the doctors all the time when I was younger as my parents knew that something wasn’t right. I got pushed away so many times due to it being a part of ‘growing up’ and eventually I’d grow out of it. I’m now 19 years old crying out for help through the surgery and can’t even get the help I need. I put an application in for a sick note on Monday 7th. They said they’d phone 2 days after the application to tell me it was ready to collect. However, still now on the 16th November I’m still waiting! My partner went it to see if it was ready to collect and the receptionist said that I’m on the waiting list for a phone call (Monday 14th). I waited all day for a phone call and never received one. I phoned all day on Tuesday 15th to see where about’s they had got to with regards of the phone call. No one answered and kept declining my calls up until 17:45pm. I was then told that they’d put me on the list for a phone call today (16th). I have been ignored all day and I know they were closed at 1pm for training.

  3. Review titled Pathetic GP and staff care

Rated 1 star out of 5

Used the new online service to seek assistance for ongoing non-urgent issues. Received a call next working day at 18:19. No attempt to call again or leave a voicemail (apparently these cannot be left by a GP practice???). New phone number provided on the form but apparently Dr then sent a text message to my old number and considered it to be case closed (hopefully NHS are not being charged for this?). After no further contact the next morning I called the practice and waited the best part of 20 minutes on hold just to be palmed off to another service, with the main part of my query ignored entirely. I was told to call the following morning at 8am as I would need to speak to the Dr about this. No offer to resend text message to my new number, and as I had not spoken to the Dr, also no offer for them to call me back either. As I am now considered to reside outside of the practice catchment area (by less than a mile) I was also being removed from the patient list (conveniently having moved my prescriptions to an alternative pharmacy). When I stated that the whole situation was completely ridiculous I was advised by the person I spoke to they would check what they could do and call me back. I then received a call about an hour later from a rude and patronising member of staff who had no idea about my health concerns (or didn’t care - maybe both?), seeming more concerned about putting up resistance and justification for removing me from the practice list. I had to repeatedly explain what the other problems were I wish to discuss with a GP, to the point it was clear I wasn’t getting any help, and ended up getting so frustrated that I just put the phone down. 31 years within this practice and the level of care and concern from them is now so feeble that you may as well go straight to A&E!

  4. Review titled Impossible to book apt

Rated 1 star out of 5

Surgery doesn’t allow you to book advance apts; you have to phone at 8am to book a call back that day, except everyone and their mum is trying to do the same so the phone line is constantly engaged and you’re more likely to be told, when you finally get through 30 mins later, that there are no apts left. Emergency apts cannot get through! No provision for people who cannot spend 30 mins each morning in the phone-scrum! No provision for people who work and cannot answer their phone during the day (unless it’s pre-booked and they can plan a break for this time)! If you miss the phone call you have to go through the same process the following day. The surgery should be ashamed of this so called service, it’s just medical gatekeeping. Shocking.
