My brother was taken ill on Christmas Eve, he had collapsed during the night and spent 9/10 hours on the floor, unable to get himself up or call for help. I contacted Dingle Park at 08:00 on the day after Boxing Day, explaining that he didn’t want to go to hospital but had a high temperature, severe cough & cut’s & bruising from the fall. Within a couple of minutes a doctor called me back for more information & promised someone would be out to see him. Within four hours the doctor & an associate came, gave him a thorough examination, took several samples for lab investigation & prescribed antibiotics etc., advising us how best to care for him & reassuring us that further help was available, if required. I believe this practice & staff showed the very best of care & compassion to my 74 year old brother & his family when we needed them. Their service was exemplary, I don’t believe they could have done more. The doctor followed up with several phone calls over the next few days & weeks. We as a family, are extremely grateful for the care and consideration shown by Dingle Park.

I requested an extension to my fit note via E-Consultation as I normally do. I did this on Friday 29/4/22, start time for note 3/5/22. I appreciate that there is a waiting time, in this case it was Thursday evening 5/5/22. When I hadn’t received it by that time I sent an online reminder as instructed. Up to Wednesday morning 11/5/22 I have still not received my texted note. I was sent a text on Friday 6/5/22 to say my request was with a doctor but have otherwise received no communication whatsoever. I have spoken to the practice receptionist on 3 occasions but cannot get any information and cannot get an appointment or a call back from a doctor to discuss it due to unavailability. This is completely unacceptable as I have been absent from work long-term due to mental health issues and this is exacerbating my stress levels. My workplace are pressing me to produce a note and the whole business is causing me great difficulty.
