    Called to make appointment Friday morning. Told to call back at 8.30am on Monday. This surgery asks all customers to call at 8.30 in the morning for appointments but have no way of responding to volume of calls. By the time you get through you're told to call again at 8.30 the next day. No way of booking an appointment online, no support for reception. This surgery needs investigating as they're not doing their duty. Have never had an experience like it.

    I have been phoning for a week straight at 8.30 evry morning for nothing I am simply trying to get a gp appointment for a fit note and I've been told to use the useless website I cant figure out I have yet been unsuccessful to book this appointment and has angerd me because of this I just want a fit note

    It is honestly near impossible to get through to Devon Square in the mornings. The line shows as busy from 8.30 and you have to keep ringing- and when I say keep ringing I had to ring 98 times this morning just to join the queue for the reception team who always say that there are no more appointments that day. I’m comparison to catchments nearby where all of the services have moved and you can at least get a callback from your GP that day if not an appointment, I don’t believe that this service would be appropriate for the large majority of the population who are not tech savvy with their phones or who may not understand- for example the elderly. I’ve always found the staff to be super friendly when you do get put through but the appointments service really could use some work.

    You're asked to phone at 08.30 for an appointment 110 calls later I am in the queue, position 8, 22 minutes later I speak to reception, only to find there are no appointments left. No wonder A&E is inundated, perhaps Devon Square Surgery you need to review your appointment system??
