Requested emergency advice the receptionist was so helpful and arranged a doctor to call me. The doctor called me 15 minutes later and dealt with my problem instantly, and she was so very caring as I was upset.

I have been at this practice for several years. I have found two of the GP's in particular to be very thorough, approachable and compassionate. The nursing staff are also very caring and thoughtful.

Can never get an appointment, not enough doctors at the surgery, staff won't listen to you, even when you know what you need but they don't care. Can't see any gp health records on the NHS/Airmid app so you have no choice but to call and wait half an hour to speak to reception, They also don't tell you test results truthfully so always double and triple check with them. Should close the surgery down and send doctors to other practices so there's more chances of actually getting an appointment.

I had a phone consultation Yesterday for a follow-up with reference to a new medication I am trying, The Young woman that rang me was so very pleasant to speak with, she listened to what I had to say about my condition, never speaking over me or `at me` Whilst I would far rather have a face-to-face appointment, this young woman made it a nice experience all around, it is a shame I cannot name her on this review, but I think she is a credit to herself and represents everyone at both Spondon & St Marks Road Surgeries. I hope that when things settle down and staff levels improve, we can get back to some normality :)

I don't usually go to the Dr's so making an appointment was a big thing for me, little did I know that I was in capable hands. I saw a lovely female locum Dr today who made me feel at ease, listened to everything I said and made me feel so much better about everything. Thank you for your kindness today.

The online booking system goes weeks in advance with no appointments. Unless you are able to call at 8am and wait on hold (ie don't have school run or getting to work to worry about) it's impossible to get an appointment, there's no point being registered here.

Thankyou for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry you experienced difficulty obtaining a face-to-face GP appointment. I would like to reassure you that our staff are working at maximum capacity to provide the best level of care we can with the finite resources available to us, and as stated above, we are constantly striving to make improvements to our appointment system to improve capacity. Unfortunately demand for GP/clinician appointments will always be greater than our appointment availability, as outlined above we have recruited additional skilled specialist staff in an attempt to broaden our appointment availability for our patients. We do also offer appointments you are able to book in advance. If you would like to discuss this further, please could you contact the practice.

I had my first smear test today and my clinician made me feel so relaxed and made the whole process quick and easy. She explained everything about the process and my appointment was done within ten minutes!
