Filled out an online triage form for my 14yr old daughter only to be called the next day at work being asked questions to then being told to make my own appointment with a pharmacy? The pharmacy did not answer my many calls and when I called back the surgery after going through all the unnecessary options I was then in a long queue and had to get bank to work. After finally getting through had to explain and after all that the dr said they need to see her. Then we had an appoint with a very strange GP who was very insensitive. It’s all been so stupid using systems that clearly don’t work.

Had difficulty hearing and understanding nurse because she was softly spoken and had a tongue stud. Also 2 appointment ran half hour late.

The receptionist are deligent and polite. The pharmacist also told her time to explain things to me.

I must say that I have rarely needed to wait too long for an appointment. The triage system seems to proritise needs well, in my experience, and the GPs/nurses I have seen have been wonderful human beings who actually listen and refer where necessary, without delay.

Doctors are polite and caring. The doctor took his time to examine me, discuss what action to take and prescribe the right medication for me.

With recent changes to the appointment booking system the experience is much smoother and no longer frustrating. The triaging approach is much fairer. My experience of the appointment with the doctor was very positive. My issue was investigated thoroughly and I wasn't made to feel under a time limit. Thank you!
