    Daughter (4 yo) had an ear infection and consequently could not hear. After contacting the practice I was told I would get a phone call from the on call doctor. The doctor called later that day and arranged an appointment within the hour. We got seen and appropriate medication prescribed which meant she had a quick recovery.

    I have the luck to have a private healthcare insurance through work, which also means I don't take up a space for someone who have to go through the NHS. Got a prescription for something that I could have got through the NHS, so nothing experimental, and apparently it's the practice policy to not accept them, but I have to pay for it once first. It's a cost I can't afford. So now I'm gonna have to get an appointment with a GP and it will probably be a few months and a lot of fighting my case - as it always is with this GP! - before I can get the help I need. And also, taking up a space to see a doctor I don't actually need to see for someone else to end up further back in the queue. I would not recommend this practice, and I will register with another one myself.

    I had first appointment for my son. Doctor said he can't issue digital prescription directly to pharmacy and I have to visit medical practice to collect prescription. When I visited not sure what the receptionist checked, she said it's already been sent to pharmacy. I have context about doctor but her response was same. Then visited pharmacy, they said nothing sent to them. When I visited medical practice again, not sure what receptionist checked, she said something isn't right in system so she will inform me when it's ready to collect. Luckily I had called them via phone as well just before visiting. On call they said it's already printed. When I insisted to check printed copy, they finally found it. Conclusion: 1. Why can't doctor send prescription if I have already opted for that? 2. First time receptionist gave wrong info. Wasn't bothered to double check in system again. 3. Second time receptionist gave wrong info as well. If I wouldn't have called via phone they would have ask me pickup prescription again. So I saved 3rd visit. So 3-4 visits just to collect prescription? Really? Sort out if there are any process issues or train receptionist appropriately.

    I was running late, I called the surgery and to my surprise I was the next caller. I let them know I had an appointment but I was late, they advised it was the nurse’s discretion, which I totally understood. I arrived and the lady at the front desk was very helpful and always are in my opinion. They did everything they could and the nurse still saw me. I always see the surgery is busy and all the staff are trying to do their best with all the challenges they are facing. I think they are all doing a great job! And do deal with some rude clients but always handle it in a professional manner.

    I attended Delemere Medical Practice Stretford Manchester today (8/09/23) for a routine enquiry. Unfortunately, I encountered a member of staff from reception who was unprofessional, rude and billigerent. Whilst I was in conversation with another staff member, who was polite and helpful. The staff member in question interrupted, shouting over at me to "...move over there" Although upset I complied and moved aside where another patient passed over a document. I then continued in conversation with the other staff member. The staff member in question interrupted for a second time and gestured with their hand in a swotting motion that I move aside. When this matter was brought to their attention, that I found the communication style offensive, abrupt, rude and unprofessional. They retorted "that was my opinion" and continued to interrupt whilst I was speaking. I requested to speak with another staff member. The staff member ignored this request. Distressing experience! Witnessed and noted.

    I attended today (8/09/23) for a routine enquiry. Unfortunately, a member of staff from reception was unprofessional, rude and billigerent. Whilst I was in conversation with another staff member, who was polite and helpful. The staff member in question constantly interrupted, shouting over instructions at me to "move over". I acquiesced. The staff member then continued gesturing with their hands that I again move to one side. When this matter was brought to their attention as being offensive, rude and unprofessional. They retorted "that was my opinion" and continued to interrupt whilst I was speaking. I requested to speak with another staff member. The staff member ignored this request. Distressing experience! Witnessed and noted.

    I cannot fault in any way the experience I had with this particular appointment from start to finish. I find the online booking system very easy to use and got an online appointment within 2 weeks. The email acknoqledgement was followed by an email that recommended I see a First Contact Practitioner for my issue rather than a GP. I was happy to do this and got a speedy reply back with an appointment and confirmation of what a First Conrltact Practioner can do. This included requesting blood tests, xrays , scans and referral to other services. My appointment was a great experience and very thorough. An xray was requested and 20 minutes after my appointment finished I had already attended Trafford General and had the xray as the electronic system was so efficient and the process so clearly explained to me. I also received a separate email with further information to assist with my issue whilst awaiting the results.
