I have used Danetre for many years and think it’s a great practice. Never had a problem getting an appointment, doctors and nurses are all wonderful and work under incredible pressure and expectations of the NHS/government. I alway find that if you treat people with kindness and respect you get the same back. I have never had an issue with any member of staff there. I smile at them they smile back. I speak nicely to them they speak nicely back. I always recommend Danetre if anyone is asking for a practice.

The practice now uses Anima, which is an online booking/triage system. It's very long winded and complicated. I agree the old system of phoning at 8am and trying to get an appointment didn't work, but this is just the same. You still have to do it at 8am otherwise all the 'appointment requests' are closed!

Thank you for your feedback. Under the terms of our GP Contract with NHS England, we are now required to offer both an online consultation service, and from 1st April 2023 to offer all patients an assessment of need on first contact, which means we are not able to ask patient to call back at another time. Primary Care is under ever-increasing pressure to deliver services, so to enable us to fulfil these requirements; we have introduced the Anima system. Whilst there are limits set for new online appointment requests these are calculated based on the number of routine appointments available each day. Once the online limit has been reached we are still able to take new requests via the telephone for anything that you feel needs to be submitted that day. Please note we are undertaking regular reviews of the Anima system, so feedback is very important to us, and will help with any improvements to the system.
